## What is MyMythPlayer?

Stream and manage your MythTV recordings directly from your Apple TV.

MythTV Player connects to your MythTV backend server and lets you browse, play, and manage all your recorded TV shows from the comfort of your couch — no web browser or desktop computer needed.

Features:

• Browse Recordings — View all your MythTV recordings organized by recording groups and titles, with season and episode information.
• Stream Playback — Play recordings directly via HTTP streaming or using MythTV's native protocol. 
• Resume Playback — The app remembers your playback position for each recording, so you can pick up right where you left off.
• Last Viewed — Quickly access your recently watched titles without scrolling through your entire library.
• Recording Management — Delete recordings directly from the app when you're done watching.
• Artwork & Metadata — Automatically fetches fanart and episode metadata from your MythTV backend.
• Playback Controls — Jump forward/backward by 20 or 180 seconds, fast forward, play/pause — with full support for the Apple TV Siri Remote.
• Preferred Group — Set a default recording group to load on startup for quick access to your favorite content.
• Universal App — Runs natively on both Apple TV (tvOS)
