## What is Myn?

Universe Deeping is the observing log for anyone who steps outside at night and looks up. It answers the two questions every observer asks each evening: what's worth pointing at tonight, and what have I already seen.

• Tonight screen: moon phase, illumination and age computed on-device, tonight's conditions, a nightly spotlight object and upcoming sky events at a glance
• Shared catalog of 240+ objects with search, filters by category and instrument, and a mark for everything you've already logged
• Full observation editor: object, site, instrument, magnification, seeing, transparency, cloud cover, duration, notes, photos and tags — all in under a minute
• Journal with list and calendar views, monthly summaries, filters and search across every sighting you've ever recorded
• Multi-year almanac of meteor showers, oppositions, eclipses and conjunctions with per-hemisphere visibility notes and optional reminders
• Star Trials — a daily twelve-question sky identification game, the same deck worldwide, so you can compare your score to other observers
• Works fully offline: catalog, journal, almanac, moon phase and statistics all run from your device with no spinner over content already cached
• No accounts, no logins, no tracking — a random identifier is the only thing the server ever sees, used solely for anonymous aggregate counts and journal backup
