Search everything you've got. Say or type "search for interview" — or use the search bar at the top of the Talk and Plate tabs — and Myna looks across your open tasks, the ones you've already finished, and your notes, grouped by which is which. It matches on more than titles: a word buried in a task's note log counts, and so does the way you originally dictated something before the title got tidied. Results filter as you type, every row opens, and you can put a finished task back on your plate straight from them. Meeting Mode now writes down both languages, and does it by default. Recording in Automatic (English + हिन्दी) produced an empty transcript: both engines were running and both were hearing you correctly, but nothing was ever finalised, and only finalised speech gets written down. That's fixed, Automatic is now the default rather than something to find in a picker, and where the two engines disagree both readings are kept so nothing spoken is lost. A meeting summary that gets cut off no longer says "Summarising…" forever. Leaving the app right after a long recording could let iOS end the summary early, with nothing to retry it. Those notes now tell you what happened and offer a button that works. Correcting a proposed time now actually changes it. Answering "shall I put this on your calendar at 12 noon?" with "change the timing to 9 am" used to save it at noon and tell you it was done. Times are now worked out on the phone rather than by the AI, so they land correctly even when Apple Intelligence isn't available. Asking a question no longer creates a task out of it. Typing "what's the status of the vendor contract?" used to file a task titled exactly that. Questions are now answered, and the task offered rather than assumed. The typing box tells you what to do with it, and an information button beside it shows what else it accepts. Also fixed: a task's due date no longer depends on the AI being reachable, and tapping "Open" on a task that got merged into another one now opens the right one. ### 1.4 — 2026-08-11 Talking and typing, sorted out. • Dictation and conversation now sit side by side above the keyboard. A plain microphone types what you say; a waveform starts a conversation. No more of the same symbol at opposite ends of the screen meaning two different things. • A microphone in the "Add a note" box on a task, right beside the +. One tap, talk, read it back, add it. It stays on, so logging several points off one meeting is one tap each. • Corrections stick. Fix a misheard word by hand and carry on speaking — the word you deleted stays deleted. Send a dictated message and the next thing you say starts a fresh one instead of joining onto what already went. • A clear button in the text box, for when saying it again is quicker than editing it. Meetings • Nothing invented, ever. A recording too short to summarise isn't summarised, and a summary longer than the words it came from is thrown away. You get the transcript and a line saying why. • Stopping a meeting no longer holds you there. The note is saved and the screen closes straight away with the full transcript in it; the summary arrives a moment later and Myna says when it's ready. • A meeting note reads like a document now — headings set apart, points bulleted, and the transcript folded away behind a line you tap to open. Your plate, accurate • Finished tasks have stopped turning up in briefings and reports, including ones you completed in the Reminders app or on a Watch. A new Completed tile shows the last month, grouped by the day you finished each item. • A note lands on the task you meant. If what you said doesn't clearly match a task, Myna asks which one instead of guessing — and repeats your note back so you don't have to say it again. • A note about a task no longer finishes it. "I sent the proposal to Rahul" is a note, not a completion, and finishing or deleting the task in front of you asks first. • "Undo" now takes back the last thing she did, not just the last thing she added. A completed task goes back on your plate; a deleted one comes back with its notes, due date, list, priority and repeat intact. • An Open button on replies about a single task, and tapping a task's name in the text opens the right one even when two things share a title. Everything still happens on your phone. ### 1.3 — 2026-08-08 Meeting Mode: record a meeting, get the summary and the actions. Tap the waveform icon on the Talk tab, or the microphone at the top of any note, and Myna listens for as long as it takes — there's no time limit. She writes down what's said as it goes, keeps recording if you lock the screen, and iPhone shows its recording indicator throughout. It only ever starts when you tap it. Every line is timestamped, so "the pricing bit was about twenty minutes in" is something you can find. She summarises as she listens rather than waiting for the end, so stopping gives you a summary in seconds: what was decided, what happens next, what's still open. Not happy with it? Summarise the meeting again — the transcript is kept exactly as it is and only the summary is rewritten. Turn a meeting into a task. Myna lists what the summary said needs doing, all unticked, and you pick the ones that are really yours. They become one task with each line tickable on its own, so a meeting's follow-ups stay together instead of scattering across your plate. Share the summary on its own, the transcript on its own, or both. Record into a note you've already started, so the agenda you wrote and the meeting itself end up on the same page. Your own task and note names are given to the recogniser before it listens, so the words most likely to be misheard are the ones it's been told about. Other languages, including Hindi, are there to try — marked experimental, because accuracy is well below English. Everything — the audio, the transcript, the summary — stays on your iPhone. Nothing is sent anywhere. ### 1.2 — 2026-08-06 Myna listens better, talks like a person, and stays out of your way. Spoken tasks are read back before they're added. She repeats what she heard, word for word, with the date if you gave one, and waits for a yes. Typing still adds straight away — there's nothing to check on text you can see. One tap to start talking, on every screen. The microphone used to mean two different things in two places; now there's one, and it always starts the conversation. Open a task by voice and it opens. "Open the WAF issue" brings up the task itself rather than narrowing the chat, and "go back" closes it — the whole loop without touching the screen. She hears your own words. Task names like "WAF Issue" are given to the recogniser as whole phrases, acronyms written with symbols survive, and ordinary words no longer crowd out your actual names. She says dates like a person. "Tomorrow at 4 in the afternoon", "Monday", "the 31st of August" — instead of reading out "7 Aug 2026, 4:00 PM". Interrupting her works. Talking over Myna now stops her mid-sentence. Ask for your focus however you like. "Show me my focus task", "what should I focus on today" — all of them work. With a task open, what you say lands on that task instead of becoming a new one, replies stay short, and Focus offers days by name: Today, Tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Everything still runs on your iPhone. Nothing is sent anywhere. ### 1.1 — 2026-08-04 Works on more iPhones Myna now works properly on any iPhone running iOS 26. Apple Intelligence adds free-form understanding, Summarize and Improve Writing — capture, reminders, dates, categories, Focus, briefings and notes all work without it, and anything Myna can't read as a command is kept as a task rather than lost. Capture you can rely on Start with "new task…" or tap New Task, and it's saved exactly as you said it — no interpretation, so it can't be mistaken for a question or an edit. Notes that keep up Turn a note into a checklist and tick items off. Edit any note line in place, keeping its original date. Paste a list of points and it stays in the order you pasted it. She stops mishearing names Myna now expects the names in your own tasks and notes, so people and companies come out right. Say "no, I meant…" to fix one on the spot, or press and hold a message to fix and resend it. Fewer wrong moves Tasks now land in the category you picked. "Focus for today" counts today's items only. Saying "not this" drops the wrong task instead of acting on it.
