## What is MynaApp (formerly Mynaportal)?

"MynaApp," provided by the Digital Agency, is an application that enables identity verification using My Number Card and the addition of My Number Card functionality to smartphones.
Starting in the summer of 2026, the "Mynaportal App" was updated and integrated with the features of the "Digital Identification App" and is now offered as "MynaApp."

It’s all in Mandarin/Chinese. I never thought I’d find something MORE WORTHLESS than I am. All I wanted was to put my ID on Apple wallet. Apple and this app’s designer need to fix this problem. I should not have to even use this app. I should be able to do it on Apple. Wallet. So Apple get to fixing this problem

国のデジタル戦略を象徴するマイナンバー制度の中核アプリが、App Store 評価で★1.6 にとどまっている現状は、日本の電子政府が掲げる「誰一人取り残さないデジタル化」の理念と明白に矛盾しています。私は一市民として深い懸念を抱くと同時に、改善の余地は極めて大きいと確信しています。

1. “未来を魅せる入り口” が障壁になっている
	•	初見で戸惑う複雑な入力・認証手順
操作途中での再認証やセッション切断により、利用者が何度も最初からやり直す状況が常態化しています。
	•	高齢者・IT 非専門家への配慮不足
ユーザーテストを実施すれば即座に判明するであろう操作上のつまずきが放置され、結果として多くの利用者が窓口へ逆戻りしています。

2. 目指すべきは「99 %が一度で完了」する体験
	•	入力・認証は最小化
本人確認はログイン時のみとし、以後はセッション維持と追加認証でカバーすべきです。
	•	公的データは自動表示、利用者は“確認”だけ
本籍地や住民情報など、国が既に保有するデータを再入力させる設計は合理性を欠きます。
	•	証明写真も AI 判定＋ガイドで自己完結
形式不備による差し戻しを極小化することは技術的に十分可能です。

3. 改善効果は行政・国民双方にとって計り知れない
	•	利用者の負担軽減はもちろん、職員の問い合わせ対応・再申請処理も大幅に削減できます。
	•	マイナンバー制度そのものへの信頼回復には、まず入口となるアプリの体験向上が不可欠です。

This might be the dumbest program I have ever used. To complete one simple step such as register to move out from my one prefecture to another, in every single step it kept asking me to relogin to my portal, unfortunately the navigation was failed without appropriate reason, no way for me to troubleshoot! So I kept looping back to the same problem, and until now I was not able to register my move out, and yet the move in is not acceptable if the move out is not done.

Watched some tutorials online. I don’t think it uses the camera, because you need to place your iPhone DIRECTLY ON TOP of the card. Haha. I didn’t know my iPhone could read my card like that. Anyway my iPhone 15 Pro Max acted like a card reader and “scanned” MyNumber Card right away. So I changed my one-star review to 5 stars. In short, the instructions on the app aren’t clear.   0 stars for unclear instructions. 5 stars for actually working. Don’t hover your phone over the card like you’re taking a picture. You must place your iPhone on top of the card (direct contact). I did put the top portion of my phone with the camera in the middle of the card. If the app does work for you, please leave a review telling people how to use it. I’m happy that I can see all my info now!
