Workaround: ask a chat bot to give you the forecast directly from the HKO website. ### 4/5 — Widget *2025-08-19, version 7.12* The widget in my iPhone recently doesn’t work well. I liked to give feedback on the storm track feature. There appears to be a bug where users cannot change screen. It’s stuck on the third view on the right. Don’t allow users to switch to other views. Also why not make it possible to zoom on the radar map as in android??? Too hard to find current weather have to look at 9 day forecast just to scroll. Not intuitive. ### 3/5 — Fuxi add on *2024-06-28, version 7.7.1* This so used to be quick and easy to open an use but has steadily become cluttered with new features, the latest of these being the Fuxi add-on. Popping up at opening of app, it is unnecessary for anybody just wanting local weather and intrusive. Either integrate it elsewhere in the app for enthusiasts or get rid of it entirely. It’s value is questionable. ### 2/5 — Bookmarks don’t work *2024-03-18, version 7.6* It is really annoying when an “upgrade” changes or breaks a perfectly good feature. Bookmarks are not signposted. When you realise that’s how to get back the toolbar at the foot of page then you find that half the time it doesn’t work. If it did work I can’t see any improvement over what you had before. Pointless. ### 3/5 — Unstable *2023-09-13, version 7.3.3* Useful but crashes regularly. ### 4/5 — Nice app *2023-05-23, version 7.3.1* I like your app i like the most is the regional weather because it shows me more places of the temperature and stuff but one thing that is a bit weird sometimes the temperature drops or rises like 5C but I don’t feel alot changed maybe its just a bug? ### 4/5 — Can’t disable rain and lightning forecast notifications *2022-11-05, version 7.0.4* I love this app: it provides useful, accurate weather data and services like storm tracking, long-term forecasts, and live radar. However, I can’t stop this app from sending me rain and lightning forecast notifications: I clearly disabled them but am still recieveing them. I even tried toggling it on and back off again, but they still appear, clogging up my Notification Center. Very suspicious; it seems like this app is tracking me… ### 2/5 — Lots to be improved *2022-11-02, version 7.0.4* Not very intuitive. Guide chat icon don’t work never understand any questions even if enter common words used in the app like RADAR. T8 has been issued and the warning icon is too small and insignificant to be seen. Weather forecast in English don’t even mention the T8 situation. Rain radar it’s not possible to zoom in as to see the local rain clouds. The product manger needs to re-design the interface and interact methods ### 1/5 — Lack of accuracy *2025-03-04, version 7.9.2* The app and website has been working fine for the past few decades, well at least until 2023, I have experienced wrong whether broadcast on this app, it said it is raining, and I looked outside of the sky( it shows that it is raining on my location), and i only saw a clear, blue sky without a single cloud, not even having a single drop of water dropping. ### 1/5 — Pathetic *2024-07-07, version 7.7.1* The radar never shows you the rain coming so you think it’s ok to head out on a short trip with no rain gear and then it turns into a storm within 2 mins of leaving the house. It will say things like “20% chance of rain while it’s actually black rain outside and the village is getting flooded. An absolute waste of time using this pathetic excuse of an app. ### 1/5 — Useless *2023-09-16, version 7.3.3* Half of the features do not work at all, and the other half are so slow and cumbersome that by the time the screen opens where you want, the weather has changed. Only radar and satellites are worth giving you an accurate picture. It’s unfortunate that the forecasters cannot work to the same accuracy. ### 1/5 — Poor design and not user friendly *2023-09-09, version 7.3.3* User interface and navigation is not intuitive. Navigation to the different features is complicated. Navigation to the hourly forecast is confusing and not consistently presented. Most of the time this is not available.
