## What is MyODV?

My Online Doctor’s Visit (MyODV) was established to make high quality telehealth care affordable, timely and convenient. We connect patients with minor health complaints to board-certified doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants via real-time video. We operate 24/7 in all 50 states, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico.

Our doctors are Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatricians who hold medical licenses in one or more states. We also have General Surgeons and surgical subspecialists who maintain their interests in providing primary care. Our advanced providers include board-certified nurse practitioners and physician assistants who actively work in hospitals and clinics. No matter their specialty, our providers are experts in their fields and are passionate about delivering high quality healthcare to patients.   

Our free MyODV app is a convenient way for patients to get same day, real-time video visits with board-certified providers from home. Using the MyODV app is convenient and easy. Here is how it works:
	1. Open the MyODV app in the App store. 
	2. Provide the reason why you want to see a doctor, your age and gender.
	3. A screening nurse will take up to 20 minutes to review your request for telemedicine suitability. 
	4. These following conditions are not suitable for our telemedicine service: 
		* Chest pain
		* Abdominal pain
		* Loss of consciousness
		* Pregnancy
		* Any trauma
		* Age less than 6 months
		* Acute or chronic pain
		* Mental health complaint
		* Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
		* Insomnia
		* Anxiety

	5. Health complaints suitable for our telemedicine service include:

		• Cough
		• Chest congestion
		• Sinus pressure
		• Pink eye
		• Urinary Tract Infections
		• Ear infections
		• Pediatric fevers (age greater than 6 months)
		• Skin infections (insect bites)
		• Poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac skin rashes
		• Birth control refills
		• Erectile dysfunction medication 
		• Chronic mediation refills (Diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.) 
	6. Once your appointment request is accepted, select “BOOK APPOINTMENT” and add your personal information.

	7. Enter your preferred pharmacy or select Amazon Pharmacy.
	8. Within the app, take a picture of any relevant body part that you want the doctor to look at. You may also record a 60 second video to explain your symptoms more thoroughly to the doctor. 
	9. Select up to three appointment slots of preferred times that you want to see the doctor. 
	10. Pay the one-time $75.00 fee to confirm your appointment. We do not accept health insurance of any kind. 
	11. Your doctor will start your 20 minute, real-time video visit at your appointment time. 
	12. After your visit, your doctor will electronically prescribe your non-controlled medication to your pharmacy. 


Our providers do not prescribe pain pills, anxiety pills, sleeping pills, ADHD pills or cough syrup with codeine or hydrocodone. We do not prescribe Ultram (Tramadol). Please do not ask our providers to prescribe these medication. If you need these medications, please go to your local physician for a face to face visit. Do not schedule a telemedicine visit with our providers. 

After your visit, My Online Doctor’s Visit will text you a link allowing you to connect with a screening nurse. This link is active for 72 hours for you to resolve any unexpected issues associated with your last visit. My Online Doctor’s Visit is serious about taking the best care of you during and after your visit. Your post-visit link will also allow you to leave a Google review. He was very personable and knew a lot. I wish he was my regular doctor. He sent my meds to my pharmacy and I picked them up 3 hours later. Nice
