### 2/5 — Just uses website

*2026-02-15, version 2.3.2*

The app just launches the website for login and use. Older versions were a real app, now it is useless.

### 2/5 — Very Limited

*2024-07-15, version 2.2.3*

Nothing like Regence or other majors, if you’ve ever used those. Barely adequate. And the website is equally poor on mobile devices, and says so!

Long way to go for good technology supporting customer self-service.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t work for blind user using voiceover

*2024-04-21, version 2.2.2*

Not accessible for blind person using voiceover.
for plan details it puts up an unreadable file that looks like a PDF.
So other than information I already have it’s pretty useless.

### 2/5 — Not fully functional

*2024-04-17, version 2.2.2*

The contact Pacific Source-email function doesn’t work. No alerts for new EOBs. The EOBs are lumped together. Cannot make changes to profile, contact preferences, etc. Not a very functional app!?

### 2/5 — TERRIBLE DESIGN

*2023-03-25, version 1.8.0*

I used to critique websites in order to make some pocket change. This is one of the most user unfriendly designs I’ve seen. The search feature is overly complicated and doesn’t give the results like it should. I’m on an iPhone 7. I should be able to put in my insurance ID number, the type of doctor I need and get results. I should not even have to put in my insurance plan because my ID number should be enough.

### 1/5 — No web based interface, forces you to use app

*2021-09-20, version 1.7.7*

I can’t even log onto my account online as it directs you to use the app.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2021-09-02, version 1.7.7*

I created an account and logged in. Looked around a bit at coverage. Then it crashed and I have been unable to log back in.

### 1/5 — Won’t load

*2021-04-13, version 1.7.6*

Waste my time today

### 1/5 — Not helpful

*2020-11-01, version 1.7.4*

The handbook doesn’t load for Columbia gorge area. It’s nice to have my ID card but other than that the app is pretty useless.

### 2/5 — Alright.

*2020-09-26, version 1.7.3*

In the “Find Providers” screen, it doesn’t let me change my location. It takes me to the “Specialities” screen instead! Ugh.

### 1/5 — Newest version of the app keeps crashing

*2020-08-03, version 1.7.0*

Since I updated the app a few days ago, it crashes when I try to open it. Please fix asap.

### 1/5 — Garbage design

*2020-06-20, version 1.6.0*

Like the title, this App is a Gabage design. I am not able to read anything from the dark background of app.

### 2/5 — Hard to READ!!

*2020-05-13, version 1.6.0*

The app itself is great to use and navigate.. if you can read it... on my phone it shows a BLACK background with DARK GREY lettering.. my HR at work and even the Doctors and Nurses have to struggle to read anything.. it was either a large oversight or just Lazy designing... or Pacific Source just doesn’t want us to use benefits... Great Company POOR app design...

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not functional

*2026-05-28, version 2.3.3*

Much worse than before.
I would like to continue to sign in with biometrics and/or my username and password, instead of verification and having to check email every single time. There are the same features in all of the bottom menus, pulldown menus and splash page. Phone numbers listed in certain areas are only for commercial insurance holders, not OHP. Told it was because there is only room for one phone number. Why bother letting OHP people use the app at all? The app settings section has no features of value. The provider directly is very difficult and time-consuming to use.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2025-10-16, version 2.3.1*

I liked the old app can’t seem to find anything on this new one

### 1/5 — Takes money yet can’t pay bills

*2025-04-03, version 2.2.6*

They take your hard earned income to “help you” but then don’t cover a visit, and their auto answering machine says they’re only open 8am to 5pm PST. It’s PDT. They steal all your money and don’t know how time works? Wild.

### 1/5 — Unreliable and Bad

*2025-03-09, version 2.2.6*

App barely works. Takes forever to load, and if it does, expect error messages for most things. Great insurance but horrible app

### 1/5 — Terrible!! Terrible!! Terrible!!

*2023-05-06, version 1.8.1*

Yes this app is terrible! You can’t view claims only EOBs. Can’t figure out how to add spouse to account to view their EOBs (or their claims). We have coverage through another carrier as well and their app is 1000% times better. Not only can we view coverage, and find a doctor on the other app, but we can view claims history too (for everyone on the policy)!! It would save so many phone calls to Pacific Source CS if we could just see all of our claims while using the app! Get it together Pacific Source!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t actually work.

*2022-12-30, version 1.8.0*

Can’t download the member handbooks.

### 1/5 — app simply does not work

*2022-12-29, version 1.8.0*

The app does not work on my iPhone. It is frozen on the first step, “select your plan” page making it impossible to use.

I see many other people have problems using this app, given the very low rating.

It is important for people to have access to their explanation of benefits. PacificSource: Please have the development team fix your app.

Thank you.

### 1/5 — Worst

*2022-09-23, version 1.8.0*

You have no access to anything important, can’t set appointments or even find out who your doctor is, seems PacificSource is waisting my time on purpose with this app that does nothing real,

### 1/5 — Please create same portal features for OHP patients

*2022-05-17, version 1.8.0*

OHP patients cannot see any of their personal information, visits, claims etc…so there’s no point in using intouch unless you have their private insurance. It’s literally the same general info as on the website (handbook, find a doctor etc..) Sad, the same importance is not given to OHP patients.
This would help not only patients to see how many specific visits they have left and so forth, but also save the Pacific Source phone operators lots of time in having to take so many calls to clarify such things.

### 1/5 — Find provider feature doesn’t work

*2022-03-08, version 1.7.8*

No matter how broad you put the criteria it doesn’t find anything. All the app is good for is tracking your deductible and seeing what is covered

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-08-18, version 2.3.0*

All the details I need on the go. If there is something I need that is not on the app, a quick call to customer service resolves my questions. I love that I get a live person and not a phone tree with endless loops.

### 5/5 — Great

*2025-05-01, version 2.2.6*

Easy to check my benefits and view explanation of benefits. Loads quick as well

### 5/5 — New features and reliability update!

*2024-04-25, version 2.2.2*

The PacificSource app update has made managing health on the go much easier. Its user-friendly interface allows me to quickly check coverage details, claims, explore prescription drug options, and locate nearby providers. The real-time updates and digital ID card access are particularly handy for simplifying health insurance management.

### 5/5 — Love the electronic ID card

*2023-06-26, version 1.8.1*

Love the electronic ID card, don’t need to search in my purse for my card…

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2021-09-25, version 1.7.7*

Love my id available in the app. It is easy to search for providers and view my benefits. Better than Moda which I had before.

### 5/5 — It Works!

*2014-10-20, version 1.0.1*

My ID card and basic benefits with a nice search for doctors near me!

### 5/5 — GREAT App!

*2014-08-15, version 1.0.1*

Love the benefits tab, very helpful and convenient!

### 3/5 — Unreliable

*2024-03-08*

New account and coverage starts in a few weeks. Can’t do hardly anything on the app without it crashing. Website access has no problems.

### 3/5 — Make the card available in wallet

*2021-05-10, version 1.7.6*

Downloaded to Have it added in my digital wallet

### 3/5 — Goods and Bads

*2016-07-03, version 1.2.0*

The new version is much better than the prior. The layout is much better and you can view EOBs... However this is where the "bad" shows up.

Unfortunately the EOBs are grouped together in an unknown way. I suspect it is by Paid Date or maybe even the Location. but I'm not sure because neither of those fields are listed. This makes finding an EOB for a specific visit very difficult. The EOB groupings have a line that shows the first service date and the first provider. Below it lists just the total number of additional service dates and the total number of other providers. So to find specific visits to specific doctors you may have to view every single EOB to find it. What would be better is if it listed all visits by service date. Or have then grouped under the billing provider. Actually listing these fields and the paid date field would be helpful. So it's a great new feature but one that doesn't as well as it should.

Aside from that the app works pretty good. It's great to have a digital ID card (even though you have to give your entire phone to the receptionist so they can scan it.

If you have PS insurance get this app but don't think it has replaced InTouch yet. Maybe next time n
