### 1/5 — Personal review

*2022-09-20, version 1.169.0*

I’ve no experience of using this App. previously, having dealt previously directly through my local GP
I can only hope this facility constitutes a more urgent way f receiving an early appointment in this case, as I have a very painful knee caused by a fall last Xmas , which has not responded to the treatment of painkillers, X-ray at the Hallamshire Hospital, and Cortisone injection administered by my GP - Dr, Michael Taylor.

### 1/5 — Poor usability

*2022-03-25, version 1.158.0*

Awful, clunky. The fact I’m forced to use this by health services is incredibly annoying

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2021-12-06, version 1.150.0*

Finally got the download, Gp referral April, consultant decided on appropriate person referral beginning of June but nothing added since. Logging in again-blank screen. Friend with similar issue 5 weeks from referral to consultant appointment and expected surgery before April 2022. No information re the app from either GP.

### 1/5 — Unable to login

*2021-03-11, version 1.136.0*

Just updated on ipad, now unable to login.

### 1/5 — Absolutely Useless

*2020-02-18, version 1.108.1*

Logs you out, then it won’t let you back in, stating username and password are incorrect even though they’re the saved ones in my password vault! Useless!

### 1/5 — Lack of communication

*2019-01-25, version 1.83.3*

Why are we using this App??? Why don’t our Doctors just talk to the relevant department or physio team??
This just proves the lack and failure of communication within the NHS.
Unable to get appointments with our doctor? Being sent to A&E, 5 hour wait in there, being told in October, referred for physio, please tell me why I need a telephone consultation before you can be seen? now end of January for this telephone appointment? Yet another government wasting funds on another failed NHS project?? What a complete waste of tax payers money!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work WASTE OF TIME

*2019-01-03, version 1.80.0*

Works about one time in ten. It’s a joke. Tried to log in to change an appointment and I keep getting a blank screen.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2018-12-22, version 1.80.0*

Got a letter cancelling appointment and advised to rebook. App won’t accept username and password, tried forgotten password etc, which asks you to get latest version before proceeding.
No later version available

### 1/5 — What’s happened?

*2018-12-22, version 1.80.0*

This was a good app despite only one of my clinics (orthopaedics) signing up to it (gastroenterology, physio & podiatry appointments not available), but I can no longer sign in, it won’t send me a password reminder, just says update app (no update?) and then defaults to an error page??? Please sort

### 1/5 — Can no longer sign in

*2018-12-20, version 1.80.0*

This was good and now it won’t let me sign in. Try to reset password but wont tells me to update but there’s no update.
Therefore this app is no longer useful to me.
Very unhappy

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrifically out of date and unusable app

*2025-03-14, version 1.181.0*

How did this company get a contract with NHS trusts? I can’t even log in. Not only does password autofill not work, they’ve disabled pasting into the input. I’ve entered my password manually twice and it’s definitely correct, yet the app won’t let me log in. I can log into the website with that same password fine. Ridiculous.

### 1/5 — Blank page

*2025-02-27, version 1.181.0*

It turns blank page and dead end once only note option is selected.

### 1/5 — Awful.

*2024-11-26, version 1.181.0*

Worst app I’ve ever come across. More often than not, the app opens with a message saying something has gone wrong. When you can get your the login screen, it won’t access your stored password. It doesn’t list some appointments that I know are in place. What exactly is the point of this app? Why is it still so full of bugs after all this time?
Pathetic.

### 1/5 — Completely useless

*2024-08-08, version 1.181.0*

What a waste of time. No Face ID, doesn’t allow autocomplete of passwords, simple basics missing. Links within the app often don’t work. Complete amateur mess. Developers should be ashamed of themselves. Not fit for purpose.

### 1/5 — Can't Log in and therefore access services in time of need

*2024-07-12, version 1.181.0*

Username and password are correct and account is registered.
App just keeps cycling back to log in screen.
No support to resolve from myPathway, ADI health or NHS!
What a waste of public funds, no wonder the NHS is broken

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2024-05-19, version 1.181.0*

If it was possible to give this a zero rating I would absolutely pointless. Clunky to use when you can log in but mostly you can’t. Absolutely no idea why one of my medical teams are pushing it’s use. Uninstalled.

### 1/5 — Can’t log in

*2024-02-11, version 1.181.0*

This is rubbish. I can’t log in using a secure password. Can’t use apple keychain as it doesn’t pick up the username/password field and can’t paste a password into the field. There’s no way I’m creating a login where I have to use a simple password so I can type it in manually.

### 1/5 — Awful set up process

*2024-01-16, version 1.181.0*

I work in IT and it’s just taken me 20 mins to figure out go to sign up and log in. Why can’t I register in the app? Why doesn’t it allow email and password to be autofilled l, or even copy and pasted? Why has it not been updated in 11 months.

### 1/5 — How bad can an app be.

*2023-11-14, version 1.181.0*

This is a pile of. Why does the NHS insist on wasting money with different apps I now have 6, 3 different ones for my GP surgery alone. All of which do what the NHS app and that is tell me when my appointment is. The questionnaires are written in such poor English you have to read three times and are also leading with limited answer. This app offers nothing a website can do. I am not sure the developer is still in business as their support email bounces back when I tried to send feedback.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2023-07-06, version 1.181.0*

App never loads.
Crashes on log in screen.
Just gives a list of past and upcoming hospital appts. Nothing useful about this app.

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very Useful

*2022-05-30, version 1.167.0*

Great and convenient app

### 5/5 — My Pathway

*2019-11-09, version 1.89.1*

What a Great Idea for keeping in touch and keeping any information up to date. Amazing!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-11-07, version 1.89.1*

This installed with no problems and keeps all my appointments in one place. It also has resources to useful websites related to my condition. It would be good if all departments used this.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-11-06, version 1.89.1*

This is a great app that keeps all your appointments in one place allows you to feedback how you’re doing and gives you useful resources you need for your condition.
So pleased I have it.

### 4/5 — Really like

*2021-10-05, version 1.150.0*

I really like the app and use it daily to check on appointments etc. but since yesterday 04/10 the app won’t load. It comes up with a message something is wrong, I have reinstalled it but the problem is still there please can someone look into it

### 4/5 — Straight forward and convenient

*2019-10-07, version 1.89.1*

I think this app and the electronic referral process is much better. As I work full time it’s difficult to sometimes get through to a busy patient booking phone line to make an appointment. The available appointments are clear to choose from and you get additional resources such as a map and advice on the medical condition you’ve been referred for. This is more convenient for me and should free up the phone line for those who would prefer to use it. I know the NHS gets a lot of complaints and can never please everyone. I see this as a positive step in making it more efficient and bringing it in line with other organisations who operate more and more online such as banks. I just hope the NHS keeps the human option available as not everyone wants or can use these sort of things.

### 3/5 — Convenient but why?

*2021-08-17, version 1.141.2*

Why do I have a 3rd NHS app now?

### 2/5 — Keeps logging me out

*2023-11-26, version 1.181.0*

The app keeps logging me out, so I have to re-authorise. Logging in is almost impossible as the text fields don’t allow you to select them (keeps focusing off page - glitchy) and you can’t paste usernames and passwords. The interface for the questionnaires are terrible (too small) and overly complicated. Great idea and useful for seeing referrals and progress, however I’m not keen on how much the NHS is pushing this app when the basic functionality doesn’t exist and doesn’t seem to be updated regularly.
