### 1/5 — UK Hills and Mountains… OR NOT!

When an app is titled UK Hills and Mountains, I expect it to contain all UK hills and mountains. Unfortunately that is not the case here. 

As a local to the Peak District, I was hoping to be able to use this app to be able to start ticking off all the hills and mountains there. Unfortunately the app only includes the 3 summits above 600m. 

Not much use to me therefore and a waste of £1.79. Go for the app entitled ’Hill Lists’ instead would be my advice. It does contain ALL UK hills and mountains!

**Developer response:** MyPeaks has since been updated to include 21,265 hills, an increase of 18,581 from the version this review refers to. Previously only hills belonging to one of eight recognised lists were included, however it now includes many more smaller peaks which are less well known.

MyPeaks has never cost £1.79. The price has been held at £0.89, a small transparent charge to cover the ongoing development and maintenance, whilst keeping the app free from in-app advertising or hidden costs.

Since the last update, this is wonderful. Being able to search by region suddenly opens up loads of new possibilities especially as it includes regions I'd never have thought of such as Shropshire and SE England. Now a valuable addition to the couple of books I own.

Can't log hills anymore?
So it's now a pointless app. Which is a shame because it used to be quite handy.

Since the recent update I am now unable to log hills, which for me was the whole point of this app, I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 7 installed but because of this glitch I now have to revert back to old fashion pen and paper. If it ain't broken why fix it ??? It's useless to me now.    :-(
