Documents and Orders should be FRONT Page. This is an option that should be easily accessible to all. Often times when you’re logging in here yes it may be to make contact with the Care team but primarily it’s for Paperwork.

### 3/5 — Stopped working

*2026-07-13, version 11.7.4*

The app was fine, but now I get a “Network connection required” error every time. I can’t log in. Changing various phone settings hasn’t fixed it. It’s the only app that gives me that error.

### 3/5 — 3737 Market St

*2026-07-07, version 11.7.4*

Reception lacks basic social skills & the 9th floor “Lab” techs are even WORSE

### 2/5 — What “Journeys”?

*2026-05-18, version 11.6.5*

It gets more more difficult to use. I am 2 courses short of 2 Master’s degrees and was a provider for 30 of 45 year career. Screening shows no signs of dementia whatsoever yet I do not know what a “Journey” is
and see no reason to add vocabulary to a language the lay person already has problems with. I spent many years decoding this stuff for patients of MDS I worked in tandem with. It has been called, “elitist” that means the utilization of language that makes the consumer feel smaller. None of my providers would deliberately do that, yet here it is, in the way of what they try to do, heal patients. They only have 15 minutes, to begin with. There is evidence that trusting providers is a measurable factor in healing. It is saddening.

### 2/5 — Review of App

*2026-05-04, version 11.6.5*

Extremely difficult to follow. Poor layout.

### 5/5 — Exceptional Care

*2026-05-03, version 11.6.5*

I am thrilled with the level of care provided by the entire Penn Medicine team. From the intake staff to the nurses, anaesthesiologists and physicians, every person made my experience exceptional. Thank you, Dr. Glaser, et. al.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-04-22, version 11.6.5*

Love this app because I can always contact my care team and know that I will get a response, no matter what the issue may be. May not be immediate but I don't expect it to be, so it works for me.

### 5/5 — Convenient

*2026-04-20, version 11.6.5*

I love being able to see my results and keep track of my medical history

### 4/5 — My Penn Team are the best!

*2026-04-09, version 11.6.5*

Thank you for always being there for me , being consistent with my treatment. And taking good care of me at all times

### 3/5 — Changes to the ER system

*2026-04-09, version 11.6.5*

As a long term patient of Penn medicine I visited the ER and I thought the wait was excessive. I sat in the ER for 2 hours before being called back to see a Dr. than waited another 4/5 hours when I asked a nurse to take blood samples so that my results would be available once the Dr got to me. I’m sending this message suggesting 1 Er Dr allocated for issues that are not so urgent , maybe the hospital would not have so many patients sitting around the building for hours.

### 5/5 — Best DOCTOR ever

*2026-03-30, version 11.6.4*

SR Ali is the best I am so happy with my choice to switch to PENN Medicine !!

### 4/5 — Review of App

*2026-03-29, version 11.6.4*

For the most part, it is great. However, there are some hiccups that come up pretty often for preventing a good read. Do you like it very much

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-03-26, version 11.6.4*

Perfecta moderna y todo lo que se necesita para estar 24/7 comunicado con mi equipo médico excelente app felicitaciones

### 5/5 — Everything in one place!!

*2026-03-25, version 11.6.4*

I am an employee and was a patient of another larger university health system in the city and had trouble scheduling due to very outdated systems in place having to make several phone calls. This app is fantastic. I have all the information right here in my fingertips. I literally just scheduled my mammogram to follow behind my primary care visit all on the same. I can’t say enough about it. I love Penn. I love the service I receive and I absolutely love this app.

### 5/5 — Told me I needed this

*2026-03-22, version 11.6.4*

I was at a Dr appointment and was told that they offered shots
I have medical conditions so I said ok
They then proceeded to bill me $376 when they said nothing to me about being billed for the shots
I could have gotten them at the local pharmacy and they would have been FREE

### 1/5 — Review

*2026-07-20, version 11.7.4*

This site is terrible! I can never get in. Something is always wrong while signing in. The couple of times I was able to get in the information wasn’t correct or hadn’t been updated.

### 1/5 — IT’S BASICALLY USELESS

*2026-07-10, version 11.7.4*

I am extremely frustrated with the transition to MyChart for Doylestown Health. Since the change, I have lost access to many of the features I relied on every day. I can no longer access old messages, request prescription refills, send messages to my providers, or review information from previous appointments. MyChart has essentially become unusable for me.

To make matters worse, my Care Team is incorrect. The only physician listed is a doctor in Philadelphia whom I saw once and who was not even the correct physician for that appointment. None of my actual Doylestown providers appear, making it impossible for me to contact them through the portal.

I have spoken with multiple people about this issue and was told that providers will not appear on my Care Team until after I have an appointment with them. That explanation makes no sense. Some of my specialists are only seen once a year. If I have a question between annual visits, how am I supposed to contact them? The portal should allow patients to communicate with their established providers regardless of when their next appointment is scheduled.

Additionally, I had an appointment with one of my Doylestown providers last week, and that physician still does not appear on my Care Team. That directly contradicts what I was told, and it suggests there are significant problems with how this system is functioning.

Another major concern is the loss of historical information. I depended heavily on the previous Doylestown patient portals to review old messages, appointment information, and other records. None of that appears to have transferred to MyChart. That information is important, especially for patients like me who have multiple specialists and several chronic medical conditions. Losing access to that history has been incredibly stressful.

What makes this even more frustrating is that when I call my doctors’ offices, I am repeatedly told to request prescription refills or send messages through MyChart. I can’t do either because my providers are not available to me in the portal. At the same time, phone wait times have become extremely long, and prescription requests are being delayed because so many patients appear to be experiencing similar issues.

I was genuinely excited about Penn Medicine’s transition to MyChart because I expected an improved experience with more functionality than the previous Doylestown portals. Instead, it has been the exact opposite. For me, this transition has resulted in fewer features, less access to my own medical information, and significantly more difficulty communicating with my healthcare providers.

As someone who manages care with multiple physicians and ongoing health conditions, this situation has left me feeling anxious and unsupported. I hope Penn Medicine recognizes the significant impact these issues are having on patients and makes correcting them a priority. At a minimum, patients should have their complete Care Team accurately populated, access to historical portal messages and records, and the ability to message providers and request prescription refills without unnecessary barriers.

I would appreciate a response explaining how these issues will be addressed and when patients can expect full functionality to be restored.

### 1/5 — Lame

*2026-06-19, version 11.7.4*

Excellent at sending you to specialists, then another specialist, then another, and back to the beginning while being in pain. I’m glad you guys got your money though!

### 1/5 — The app works ok but functionally how it works is a function of who responds. It can be a barrier.

*2026-05-19, version 11.6.5*

While the app is still evolving, I do like it’s design. It is great to have everything in one place including access to other (non-Penn Medicine) medical apps from one app.
What I do not like is having my prescription refill requests, and questions to the my Doctor intercepted and answered by Nurses. This is mostly the case for Penn Valley Forge. I find this to be frustrating more often than not. As a suggestion, give customers - via the app- the opportunity to complete customer satisfaction surveys for non Physician interactions.

### 1/5 — updates

*2026-04-03, version 11.6.5*

The app has updated the appointment language to"alignment/disease journey" What an insensitive idea like the patient wants to be reminded of the disease and/or alignment every time they use the app. Keep it simple to just appointment. The other updates are not as bad but you can tell the end user aka the patient did not give any feedback!

### 1/5 — Over Charge

*2026-03-19, version 11.6.4*

Be careful going in for your covered annual physical exam because their doctors will turn it into a billable office visit.

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2026-03-16, version 11.6.4*

Whatever happed to the Penn app renders it unusable. There is no icon to message your doctor. An explanation is not available under the search option.

### 1/5 — Rude Receptionist Staff

*2026-03-05, version 11.6.4*

App UI/UX is fine

Doctors and practitioners are great

Receptionist staff at Student Health (Wellness at Penn - 3535 Market Street) is EXTREMELY RUDE, always angry.

Penn should do a better job at vetting healthcare staff during the hiring process, and have trainings to ensure that staff are at least of a decent standard.

### 1/5 — No responses

*2026-01-26, version 11.5.2*

I frequently use My Penn Medicine. I use to get responses from care team but the last year it stopped. I suggest if the team can’t keep up with the messages and can’t respond then they should tell people that. It’s very frustrating.

Thanks you.

Joe

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Professional

*2026-08-11, version 11.8.3*

I enjoy using the app I get all my appointments and medication updates and all my lab results on time without me having to worry about what’s going on with my Health

### 5/5 — PennMed MyChart is great…but

*2026-07-28, version 11.8.3*

I have used MyChart in a different state for many years now. The app and information is top notch. Since moving to PA, I haven’t had that level of coordination with any of my doctors. I’m thankful that PennMed has adopted this app. We are only in the first month since it rolled out, but it appears that some of my doctors have been unable to view or add notes specific to my account. So some of my doctors are linked to the MyChart app, but some are not. Yet all of my doctors are PennMed. Once that gets ironed out, I am looking forward to how this organizes my visits.

### 5/5 — Review

*2026-07-27, version 11.8.3*

This app is the easy to navigate. Very convenient. My Drs get back to me right away. Don’t have to worry about forgetting my Drs appts. Has everything I would need in this app.

### 5/5 — Penn health App made simple

*2026-07-21, version 11.7.4*

I have used many health provider apps in the past, but I can honestly tell you that this one is the most intuitive and easy to use application for your health in a centralized location. We make our health a priority in our household and using this application makes scheduling appointments, asking questions, requesting medication’s, etc, the simplest health tech application we have used. Excellent job!!!

### 5/5 — Good faith

*2026-07-16, version 11.7.4*

The myPennMedicine app has been very helpful to me. It make my life that much easier being sick when I can communicate with my team accessibilily without delay. The only thing that I can see that needs improvement is the turnover time to get a response and it can be a little difficult to find the specialist I need to see and make appointments with. Other than that the app is great.

### 5/5 — Awesome Oncology Team

*2026-06-19, version 11.7.4*

Dr. Agarwal & all the nurses, & team overall. They have always made sure me & my Fiancé feel comfortable, she’s open to take the time out to explain & with empathy..I seriously love her & Dr. Shimimi Liver Surgeon, is also an awesome Doctor that listens to the patient, I feel heard and taken care of :) Bless

### 5/5 — Best Thing to Happen to Me in Years!

*2026-05-22, version 11.6.5*

It has everything. No matter the hour, your stress, you can always reach out to Penn. No more notebooks and calendars laying around. Commit to it!

### 5/5 — My Chart

*2026-05-13, version 11.6.5*

I enjoy every aspect of my chart. I get answers quickly and prescriptions and refill done with calling the doctor’s office or talk to the doctor. I can see my results with 24 to 48 hours. It gives me time to write notes and question down to ask my doctor. Get appointments scheduled or canceled. Also reschedule appointments. I love it when I see all my scheduled and just add each one to my calendar. Loving the easy access to my information. Loving the check in procedures and how I am notified when I get there, I can check in upon my arrival. It is made easy for everything all around.

### 5/5 — Great care at Center City Princeton Presby and Radnor!

*2026-05-12, version 11.6.5*

I am so pleased with the routine and non routine care that the cooper clinic and Princeton Penn Hospital gave me during the past 20 years and for the Jan2/2026 TiA..The follow up care during the January weeks of the new year by Dr Wynne and staff was amazing..And Last years wound care/Mohs Surgery and care by Dr Puglise & Higgins was spectacular.

### 5/5 — MyPennMedicine Ap Review

*2026-05-11, version 11.6.5*

I find the myPennMedicine is easier to use on the phone than it is on my desktop.
