### 2/5 — Still quite Buggy.

*2023-03-13, version 10.2.74*

I religiously sync - afterwards the app says, “Last synced…” (weeks ago.

I want to contribute my data re:Disabling PASC (3 years bedridden after Covid) - but this app does not inspire confidence.

### 2/5 — App crashes

*2022-06-09, version 10.2.31*

I am unable to use the app due to it crashing within 1 minute of loading. This started about 1 week ago.

### 2/5 — App crashing

*2022-06-08, version 10.2.31*

The app has been crashing for about 3 weeks now every time I open it to sync. iPhone 13 pro user with Apple Watch. Is this going to be fixed?!?!

### 3/5 — Keeps crashing

*2022-01-06, version 10.2.2*

Every time I try to sync past data the app crashes partway through.

### 4/5 — Why do I have to login as if I’m starting from scratch?

*2021-12-26, version 10.2.2*

I periodically have login as if I’m starting at the beginning. It now takes an hour to gather data that I presume has been downloaded previously.

### 3/5 — It’s difficult to read the faint print For old eyes

*2021-12-20, version 10.2.2*

Ditto

### 3/5 — App Keeps Crashing

*2021-09-25, version 10.1.84*

The app is fine when it works (hence 4 stars). Using iOS 14.8 on an iPhone 12 Pro Max and am using the newest MyPHD version. App keeps crashing after 5 seconds. Can’t sync.

### 2/5 — Really long to upload information

*2021-09-11, version 10.1.73*

Love the idea, I was participating regularly in the COVID study until a few months ago. The app just takes waaaaay to long to upload my data to. Sometimes I was leaving it overnight because it’s been taking over an hour to update. Having to have the phone open & kept on the app is really frustrating. Was on when it took only 15-20 minutes, but not when it’s well over an hour.

### 3/5 — Keeps Crashing

*2021-04-18, version 10.1.56*

when i open the app or access the dashboard the app crashes. this is an ongoing issue for several months. the last time it successfully downloaded data from fitbit was March 25th. Not sure how outdated data is helpful to this covid study.

### 2/5 — So. Damned. Slow.

*2021-02-07, version 10.1.38*

It takes 30 minutes to upload a couple days of data. There is no excuse. This is just text data — I could download multiple entire movies in the time it takes to upload some measly text.

It’s not a WiFi bandwidth issue, restarting my iPhone 11 Pro Max doesn’t help — its the coding. Please fix it.

### 2/5 — Beta for iPhone

*2021-01-14, version 10.1.33*

Still under development for iPhone as of January 2021

### 4/5 — Second Half Study Underway

*2020-12-28, version 10.1.28*

Participated in the first study. Received an email saying first half completed and to delete app and download new app. Finally got the new app. While it does not work completely with iWatch they are working on it.

### 1/5 — Very Hard To Enrol with Anything Other Than Fitbit

*2020-12-13, version 10.1.27*

I see on the update that I can use my Motivé.ring but when I click on ready to register, this takes me right back to connect my Fit it. What is going on here? Do you want people to en roll in your study? If so, the enrolment process should be simple, straightforward and work. Let's get mov8bg and make this work. Also of the study includes Canada, make it simple if you would like Canadians to participate!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Haven’t been able to use since November

*2024-03-23, version 10.3.50*

I’ve been part of crash corse study but I have not been able to sync since November. Reached out through both app and email multiple times and have not received any response. Glad that long covid is being researched and I hope more steps are taken to get data in future. Still wearing Fitbit and hoping it will be fixed so I can upload my data

### 1/5 — App

*2023-11-03, version 10.3.27*

Allow us to enrolled in multiple study’s using the same app rather then having to log out and log back in again.

### 1/5 — App issues

*2022-05-30, version 10.2.31*

I loaded the app after seeing it discussed on CBS Sunday Morning and was very interested in it. However since 5/26 the ap has stopped working - collecting data from health app, tries to cycle to next screen and the app crashes. I’ve looked for updates and the ability to report a problem to the app developer, neither have been found. I had high hopes for this app so I’m hoping it gets fixed soon.

### 1/5 — App freezing

*2022-05-23, version 10.2.31*

Can’t sync data, can’t “report problem” or contact developer… past issues seemed to have been addressed fairly quickly but this one is lingering. Previously sound app is sinking. Please fix!

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2021-07-30, version 10.1.64*

After I had to navigate away from the app screen because I had to use my phone during a lengthy data transfer, the app stopped working properly. The screen closes before allowing manual data entry and sometimes won’t end the automated data transfer forcing me to close the app in order to use my phone. So far there doesn’t seem to be a fix. The suggestions to reinstall and make sure to answer all the questions might work if one could get that far before the crash.

### 1/5 — Cool, but…

*2021-07-05, version 10.1.64*

It takes way to long to compile the data. And it seems to want to start over in the morning, which means I need to leave my phone alone and takes longer to enter the daily data.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2021-06-11, version 10.1.62*

Do you people ever bother to test your junk? The app just hangs for more than ten hours trying.to download health data until I shut the phone off. Totally useless.

### 1/5 — Takes forever to upload data

*2021-03-05, version 10.1.44*

It takes forever to upload data, you have to stay on the app and cannot use your phone for anything else until the app has finished uploading.

### 1/5 — Confusing

*2021-02-16, version 10.1.41*

I don’t know how to interpret the data, and it’s not clear when it wants you to enter data. Overall confusing app.

### 1/5 — Still Broken. Not Recommended. . .

*2021-01-24, version 10.1.38*

Latest version STILL crashes every time on the dashboard and takes at least 20 minutes to sync on an iPhone 12 Pro, which means you have to keep the app open on that screen and can’t use the phone. Also, not a very intuitive interface.

No response from developers when I emailed them about the abysmal performance. Have no choice but to delete this app as there are now other COVID research apps out there that sync infinitely faster and don’t tie up your phone for long periods of time.

### 5/5 — New Version

*2020-12-17, version 10.1.27*

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2020-12-04, version 10.0.27*

Such an important project!!! Works greay

### 5/5 — This app is necessary for improving healthcare

*2020-12-02, version 10.0.25*

This app had some issues at the start but has improved with time. The work that Stanford is doing with wearables is so interesting and necessary for the future of healthcare.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2020-11-26, version 10.0.21*

I had a few issues in the past that were resolved by updates. I had the same issue when installing and data loaded with the button being too low to proceed. Mine was blocked by the keyboard. I pressed home then went back to the app which resolved it.
