The new myPhonak comes with improved functionality and a new design to make your hearing experience as seamless and as tailored to your needs as possible. myPhonak provides you access to enhanced hearing controls and personalization options for your Phonak hearing aid(s) in addition to tracking your health data.* The Remote Control enables you to easily make changes to your hearing aid(s) to suit your personal preferences for various listening situations. You can easily adjust the volume and various hearing aid features (e.g., noise reduction and microphone directionality) or select pre-defined programs according to the different listening situation you are in. It’s one of the main reasons I purchased the aid. However although this latest update promises auracast it is not showing. Will we ever get the update??? ### 1/5 — Never again *2026-08-24, version 7.5.1* This is the worst hearing aid app I’ve used to date and it will keep me from ever trying Phonak again. More than 50% of the, usually when I need it quickly, this POS app is disconnected from my phone, always requiring rebooting the aids and/or phone. Never had that problem with my old Resound aids. On the positive side it is a useful thing to have and can help in many situations. On the negative, setting change when SMS are received or transmitted… the same either WhatsApp, emails. Saved individualised programmes can simply disappear. It disconnects from the hearing aid for no reason that I can determine AND it has been like this for years. Phone know about these problems but have yet to address the matter to a satisfactory conclusion. ### 1/5 — Still not a useable blue tooth device. *2026-08-23, version 7.4.2* All Bluetooth connections are flaky. Sudden volume increases are distracting. Audio volumes are often out of control range. Left hearing aid often doesn’t connect. Of course, left and right sound levels are unpredictable due to ear canal changes in hearing aid placement. ### 1/5 — Worst pair I’ve ever owned *2026-08-23, version 7.4.2* I’ve had these phonak hearing aids for almost two years and I deeply regret getting them. The Bluetooth feature would be nice if I didn’t have to reconnect my hearing aids to my tv several times a day because they decide to disconnect on their own. There hasn’t been a single day where they’ve actually stayed connected to the tv while watching.
