Are you seeing red flags in your relationship with a partner or ex? Do you have a friend or family member whose relationship worries you? You are not alone. myPlan can help you see things more clearly, make decisions about safety, and find resources.

myPlan:

-   Offers customized strategies for safety planning, online privacy, reaching out for support, emotional and physical health, and protecting children. For friends and family, strategies include how to talk to your loved one, supporting their safety and well-being, and taking care of yourself.
-   Provides resources for domestic violence (DV), mental and physical health, legal, parenting, and culturally specific services. Enter a zip code to find your local DV agencies, provided by the National Domestic Violence Hotline, or connect to a hotline advocate directly by phone, text, or chat.

-   Delete myPlan when you are done using. with it, but know it’s not always possible to delete completely from your purchase history. Alert: It’s not possible to delete apps from your purchase history on Apple devices. You can “hide” purchases on your own device, but they can still be discovered, and it will not be hidden from a family member’s purchase history if family sharing is enabled. myPlan is also available by web browser if you don’t want to download it (www.myplanapp.org)

-   myPlan is not meant to replace real live trained domestic violence advocates and service providers. I'm a full time domestic violence advocate and I endorse this tool for clients/survivors. I tried it both as if I was the victim and as if I was looking for help for a friend and I felt both assessments were comprehensive and thought provoking. My only critique is that during the risk assessment ("is my relationship dangerous") I feel there should be explicit questioning about hx of DV injuries and hospitalizations. But overall I think it's an excellent resource.

I am trying to take the personality quiz and it won’t let me past the demographic question I think 15 or hit next and I completely can’t use the app any further because it won’t let me past that question

I downloaded this app to see if it was what I needed to help a friend. It has the choice to evaluate the situation and safety plan for a friend or family members, as well as yourself. I am very impressed with the tools it has to help you evaluate your situation and begin safety planning. It is not a replacement for a domestic violence counselor but it's very helpful.

I downloaded the app because I’m the one be domestically abused. I was hoping the app would show me that it’s real but when I got on and did the basics survey it’s asking questions about the abuser in the sense that their the one that show be on the app. It’s like it’s trying to get me to fill out everything for them and help them but that’s not what the app showed to do on the app store. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing that the app does that, it’s good to help other with that situation it’s just it keeps like there’s some missing information on the app store page, either that or the app needs clearer instructions. I could use it into a 3rd person way but honestly i would rather not and just find another app. I could’ve just messed up the whole basics thing but I didn’t really see anything about get my own help

One of the first questions in the app is if you are concerned about your own relationship or if you are looking to support a friend/family member experiencing abuse. I tried clicking none of the options and then some/all of the options, and neither way was I able to click "next" to proceed. It isn't possible to both scroll down and click the button. Nice idea but I don't see how it can be used.

I downloaded this app and it really feels like it will be helpful. Except for one thing; don’t make the videos autoplay. That can be very dangerous for the person trying to leave as it autoplays loudly also.
