Doesnt work with heavy apresentations ### 2/5 — No Support *2015-10-22, version 1.2.2* I have used this app for several years now. When I first started it worked great. I could preview the next slide and read my notes. Now with latest version it will not stay connected, I cannot preview slides and no notes. Emails to support have gone unanswered. ### 2/5 — Expensive disappointment *2015-02-22, version 1.2.2* In terms of capability this is my preferred app of its type. But connection is unreliable (rarely get through a whole show without dropping out, and really hard to reconnect once it's lost). The worst is I was expecting the app to be far more functional including live catch up when the laptop advances automatically, but the only real addition seems to be a little used toolset. If it has been a 69p upgrade then it would just have been frustrating, but this is a huge waste of money. On first time, the PPT slide on computer did not match slide on iPad. So I bought pro version, figuring it would sync better. Now it won't open on computer. Support responded to my email with gibberish. Waste of money. I attempted to use again now and upgraded thinking it would be great to use over-time enhancings, but oh boy! I was wrong. It has many issues: - network - I have an open slide show and it won't recognize it - among others Too expensive. I've contacted tech support and heard nothing. I'll be contacting Apple to get this removed from the App Store and get my money back. It crashes with pretty much anything I try to do. Great concept, poorly executed! ### 3/5 — Buy with caution *2013-07-23* I've had this app for about a year now. It works great with my Windows 7 PCs, but doesn't play well with my Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display and Office 2011. It was crashing Powerpoint every time I tried to connect. Fortunately, the apps designer told me to open the "Connector" on my computer, open my slideshow and put it in presentation mode, then open the remote app on my iPhone. I gave them three stars for giving me this work-around within a couple of hours of contacting them. Hopefully they can resolve the crashing issues in a future update. ### 3/5 — Great but two issues *2013-06-21, version 1.2.1* Most of the time it works great and is wonderful. When presenting I like to wonder around the room and this is ideal. BUT Unlike all other apps The Mac MyPoint Connector software asks each time it's loading whether to accept incoming connections And sometimes the message does not stay on the screen long enough to say Yes. When it disappears it is not a case of the box been hidden it is gone - totally. Not even rebooting fixes. Hence you cant use it. Have latest version 2.3.1. Wrote some weeks ago to company have had no acknowledgement. A second point experienced with some external projectors / screens some of the time. The slides start moving on themselves! Not immediately, maybe after 10-15 seconds. Problem when you're doing presentations is you cannot have uncertainties. However, this application never successfully connected the two devices. I tried every possible combination of settings. I’m very disappointed and will not consider any other applications by this developer. In my experience, Didonai LLC is simply a scam. I got my iPad to connect to my MacBook pro, and the iPad could be used to click through the presentation, but I could not see the Power Point presentation on he iPad. So its pretty useless - a regular remote clicker does the same and is a lot less bulky. I contacted their tech support several times with no response. It gives me the freedom to jump between slides while communicating- i'm not tied down to the order of slides in my presentation.
