Upon downloading and opening the app there is a menu button which contains no items aside from a header labelled ‘my pregnancy.’ There are no links or files or any information of any kind just the empty menu and a main page with a logo. The app support links back to the app developers with no clear direction where to ask for support. Not fit for purpose - how are you referring all pregnant women in a city as large as Bristol who need vital information to an app which is faulty.

Edit: 16 July. I asked my midwife about the app and she said it isn’t in use and was a non-starter and that St Michael’s hospital are lined up for badger notes in the coming future.

This is such a bad app (if you can even call that). Whoever got the tender for this should be embarrassed. Nothing exists within the app,  simply a menu that opens with no options. 

The app hasn’t been updated in FOUR Years which is ridiculous for an app that is being actively pushed to pregnant women in Bristol. 

Please fix this stop suggesting it to mums to be. Or at least cancel the contract you (NHS) have with this service provider and find someone else, or better yet put the money into paying more to NHS staff.

There is no information. The app worked until about April time for me. Since then there’s been nothing on there at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing. Shocking to be referring pregnant women to use something that doesn’t even work. We are potentially missing out on vital information!

It’s so glitchy it’s virtually unusable, broken links, documents that won’t scroll past the first page so you can’t read them, clunky interface. I think if the NHS midwife teams are recommending the app it would be good if it worked. Thankfully there are many other free options as far as pregnancy apps so will be using one of those instead.

Seems like a good idea, but the app doesn’t work at all. I cannot access any information on it, it’s just frozen on the Home Screen with no menu options! 
Shame the practice doesn’t just send you the information you need as a leaflet in the post.

This is just a collection of webpages in an app. Harder to search than a website though. There’s nothing interactive that you can engage with so what’s the point of making an app? Just have a website!

This app isn’t flashy but it holds all the information you might initially need about St Michael’s services. It reads like they have taken all the NHS leaflets and website info relevant to giving birth and put it in one place, tailored to the set up at St Michaels. A very helpful resource. Also, doesn’t seem to crash any more like old reviews mentioned.
