## What is myQTwave?

MyQTWave is a non-interventional, natural history study aimed at understanding the burden of congenital long QT syndrome (LQTS) types 1, 2 and 3. Through this iPhone and paired apple watch app, we will mainly be collecting daily quality-of-life measures using numerous validated patients reported outcomes, as well as monitoring symptoms and impacts of LQTS. 

Through the Apple Watch, this study will collect health data such as sleep duration, amount of time spent in physical activity, walking speed, etc. Symptoms and impacts may also be reported on the watch. Electrocardiograms (ECG) will be collected through the apple watch. MyQTWave (iPhone) will monitor the health data store, maintain long-term health and care data storage, manage tasks and surveys.

The goal of this study is to measure the lifestyle, quality of life and burden of disease that affects people living with LQTS. 

Thryv Therapeutics is a small bio-pharmaceutical company, working on an innovative approach to treating Long QT Syndrome (LQTS) using precision medicine techniques via SGK1 inhibition. LQTS is a heart rhythm disorder that can lead to dangerous arrhythmias and sudden cardiac events. Through MyQTWave, Thryv seeks to intimately understand the challenges and implications faced by survivors of LQTS. By delving into the lived experiences of these individuals, Thryv aims to gain invaluable insights that will inform and optimize their treatment strategies. The ultimate goal is to tailor their interventions more precisely, ensuring they align seamlessly with the needs of those affected by LQTS.
