### 4/5 — Health app information

*2026-06-09, version 8.0.0*

I’ve noticed today that there’s some additional information that can be used from the Health app, such as stairs, walking, gait etc. however the only information being provided from health is Steps, everything else is blank. Other than this I find the app really useful either with the advice pages, surveys or exercises. It gives me a good overview of my recovery.

### 3/5 — Where’s the reset button?

*2026-03-25, version 7.16.1*

I put in my reps for the day, and then did some more. But the app is showing a huge amount of reps that I didn’t do. When I search the knowledge base it says to use the reset button, but that is nowhere to be found. I’ve sent a message to the help.us support email given in the knowledge base but no response yet. It’s a pretty poor design that should be fixed, and could be fixed easily. But for now my erroneous reps are really skewing the report for my rehab, and apparently no way to correct them.

### 2/5 — No info or exercises

*2026-02-02, version 7.14.1*

Doesn’t display anything under info, exercises or pain

### 5/5 — Right knee replacement

*2025-12-07, version 7.13.0*

I would like to thank everyone at writtington hospital they were all incredibly supportive and kind in my knee replacement surgery and after care I could not have asked for more.

### 5/5 — New knee

*2025-12-06, version 7.13.0*

I couldn’t have wished for such a great recovery and enjoying life I would like to thank Mr Roach and his team for,

### 5/5 — ATI Physical Therapy on Harrison and Old Spanish Trail

*2025-08-28*

I just finished my last session of physical therapy at ATI on Harrison and Old Spanish Trail, William was my main therapist 👍🏻McKenna , Melissa, Ari ,Noah, Steven Miguel Sam are all great. ‼️ I hope I didn’t leave anybody out. They are all very knowledgeable and very helpful. They were great in assisting me with my physical therapy and I highly recommend this office to all my friends and others. Do not hesitate to contact them if you need any help with your physical therapy 👍🏻 rest assured you’ll be in good hands no fun intended‼️😂😊

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about the team, app and your experience. Wishing you all the best. Warm regards, myrecovery

### 4/5 — Not really doing much

*2025-08-24, version 7.5.0*

Things are going right along.Everything seems to be fine

### 2/5 — Pain-focussed questions irrelevant to my situation

*2025-08-12, version 7.5.0*

Want to help my spinal surgeon but see little point in completing this app when requested since every question is pain-focussed and irrelevant to my situation and the reason I had the decompression surgery.

### 3/5 — Expect Spam

*2025-07-20, version 7.4.1*

My in basket has been inundated with spam emails since downloading this app. Great app except for this.

### 2/5 — Exercise in frustration

*2025-07-06, version 7.3.2*

I only persist with this app as my hospital asked me to use it. It's an exercise in frustration - 55 seconds to open, 50/50 as to whether it then freezes, 20 seconds for it to submit my daily readings, it's so tedious.

### 3/5 — Keeps freezing

*2025-06-29, version 7.3.2*

Used to love this app but the last weeks it’s started freezing while I’m trying to do the PT exercises.

### 5/5 — Exercise

*2025-06-01, version 7.3.0*

The was easy to follow. The exercise has an excellent video to view.

### 5/5 — What an excellent App!

*2025-05-28, version 7.3.0*

Wonderful idea! Still learning how to use it! Will get there hopefully soon! Thank you.

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2025-05-27, version 7.3.0*

I was quite keen to start using this App, and at first things worked well. But now, almost 2 weeks after surgery, I find it extremely frustrating: I can't correct a survey I made a mistake in (kind of an important one: I wrote that I'd no exercises given to me in hospital - whereas in fact I had received a sheet which had becoe hidden. I am very disturbed that this has not been flagged up: I would have thought it was rather important that I knew what exercises to do, and that a sheet would have arrived in the post the following day. Either you didn't build that into the programme (which makes it rubbish) - or no-one is looking at the survey (which means it's a waste if time). Also, I can't log any exercises on this App - despite there being a page for it. Maybe there will be something coming in a few days - if so, why can't you tell me that? I am increasingly frustrated and disappointed with it. It feels as though someone thought it'd be a good idea - but no-one in the know had much to do with it, and can't be ar$ed to ask users what they think. Sorry to be negative - but you need to know the truth.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Help

*2026-08-02, version 8.3.0*

This app has stopped opening up

### 1/5 — Won’t open

*2026-07-25, version 8.3.0*

I cannot open the app I have to download it and then it only opens once then have to delete it and download it again

### 1/5 — Poor UX, looks like it was written for an iPhone 3G

*2026-06-07, version 8.0.0*

An app that does nothing except scrape your Apple Health data. No links to your current treatment plan. No way to revoke consent and delete your account and data.
Feels like it was made in a high school coding class and received a C- grade.

### 1/5 — Can’t get pin code

*2026-04-10, version 7.17.0*

Disappointing. Cant get it to work. No way of getting pin code.

### 1/5 — Worried now- App won’t open

*2026-03-08, version 7.16.0*

This is totally rubbish- it doesn’t work on my IPhone 17. The company even called me and have left me in limbo/. I hope this isn’t important. Waste of NHS money- incompetency at its worst- my recovery is being hampered “ My Recovery “ - sort yourselves out you amateurs!!

### 1/5 — Poor

*2026-01-23, version 7.14.1*

As an ex-developer this is a poorly written app.
1. It stores progress locally so if you use multiple devices the progress is not shown across devices.
2. Pages read are not flagged or shown so you can read the same thing several times.
3. No graph of progress so never sure or able to compare your previous estimates.
4. Too many pages to read.
5. Almost like 70’s ‘pain is in the mind’ ignoring it is a body’s response and signal to injury.
Needs a rewrite and better planning.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-01-16, version 6.13.1*

Asks for a PIN code to create account but how can the app send a PIN code with no email address. My be a useful app but can’t sign up

### 1/5 — Peterplocket

*2025-01-07, version 6.12.0*

I've been advised by the hospital to download the myrecovery app.
OK, I've downloaded it, entered my email address, waited and waited…and waited……and waited for 2.5 hours and still no PIN code has arrived.
What's happening here? Anyone got any suggestions?

### 1/5 — App Does not Work

*2024-11-24*

I downloaded the app as suggested by my doctor. I have not been able to do anything with it since I logged in. I get notifications telling me to do something and click on it and there is nothing I can do within the app. Unfortunate.

**Developer response:** Hi there, sorry to hear you are having trouble with the app. Please could you email us at support@myrecovery.ai, providing your username, your device model and app version? We will then be able to support you further. Best wishes, myrecovery

### 1/5 — Pain level

*2024-11-05, version 6.10.0*

The pain block was a great help. The following day was a big disappointment. I waited 6 hours before taking pain pill. I will be reducing the time lapse

*2026-01-16, version 7.14.1*

I really like this app, found it really useful and informative. If like me you like to google to know what is going to happen- you get various answers but when you use the app you know you are getting the right answers from the clinicians who will be carrying out your procedure.
Would definitely recommend you to use it.
