## What is MyRepresent?

MyRepresent was born out of frustration: thick sample-ballot and measure pamphlets, written in dense legal language by the very people asking for your vote, that take hours to parse and leave you wondering whether you actually understood what you just checked.

MyRepresent helps everyday voters show up prepared. Enter your ZIP or pick your state and see who and what is on your ballot — explained in plain language, without spin, and without nudging you toward any party or position.

MATCH WITH YOUR CANDIDATES
Answer six plain-language questions about the issues — jobs, healthcare, schools, public safety, climate, and housing — plus a few quick sharpeners. We show you how each candidate on your actual ballot lines up with what matters to you. When we have a candidate's real, researched positions on file, we say so and link the source. When we only have a party baseline, we're honest about that too.

YOUR BALLOT, DECODED
Every race on your ballot with the declared candidates, pulled from official FEC filings and state sources. Ballot measures explained with what a YES means, what a NO means, and what it costs you.

NEVER MISS A DEADLINE
Registration deadlines and election dates for your state, a home-screen widget counting down to your next election, and a Live Activity countdown when your registration deadline is close. Ask Siri: "When's my next election?"

What's New in 1.27

Smarter Match after the primaries
Match now reflects who's still in the race — not the full primary field. After each state's primary (and a short certification window), we refresh your ballot so eliminated or withdrawn candidates no longer appear as your top alignment. Example: California Governor now shows the general-election field (Xavier Becerra and Steve Hilton), not candidates who did not advance.

Works across all 13 covered states
California, Texas, New York, Florida, Ohio, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Wisconsin. Each state's election calendar drives when we switch from the primary field to the general-election field — including top-two states like California and Washington.

Stays up to date automatically
Nominee updates ship through our servers. Open Match or Ballot (or bring the app to the foreground) and you'll pull the latest field — no waiting on a separate App Store update for every primary result.

Always nonpartisan
We still never tell you who to vote for. When we have researched positions, we say so and link the source. When we only have a party baseline, we're honest about that too. Your quiz answers stay on your device.
