## What is MyRepsCount?

Automatic rep counting using your camera. You lift, we count.

MyRepsCount uses your phone's camera to count your reps in real-time. Build a routine, pick a prebuilt workout, follow a multi-day program, or let Smart Build create a session for you — then press start and go. The app handles the rest.

100% PRIVATE
All processing happens on your device. We never record, store, or transmit your camera feed. The camera is only ever used to count your reps, live.

BUILD YOUR WORKOUT. TRAIN HANDS-FREE.
Whether it's Tabata, AMRAP, or a classic rep or time-based routine, MyRepsCount lets you customize your session and guides you on-screen. Set your phone down, start, and watch the rep counter climb — no buttons, no manual logging.

STAY FOCUSED
Turn on Focus Mode and MyRepsCount locks your most distracting apps until your workout is done. Earn your screen time back by putting in the work — no more doomscrolling instead of training.

TRAINING HUB
Ready-made workouts and guided programs, all in one place:
Popular Workouts: quick standalone sessions you can start in seconds.
Fitness Programs: structured multi-day plans that build consistency.
Prebuilt WODs: a collection of popular Workouts of the Day.
Smart Build: tell it your time, goals, and equipment, and it builds a personalized workout around them.
Custom Routines: full control over every exercise and format.

SHARE & COMPETE
Share your exact workout with friends so they can take on the challenge, and check the Leaderboard to see how your reps stack up against the community.

SEE YOUR PROGRESS
Track total reps, streaks, and a breakdown of reps per exercise, with a detailed summary after every workout so you can compare performance over time.

EXERCISES
Situps, Reverse Crunches, Squats, Burpees, Pullups, Lunges, Lateral Raises, High Knees, Shoulder Presses, Bent Over Tri Extensions, Curls, Romanian Deadlift, Single Leg Deadlift, Bulgarian Split Squats, Chest Presses, Chest Flys, Lying Tri Extensions, Posture Exercises, and more.

HOW IT WORKS
Pick your workout — build one, choose a WOD, follow a program, or use Smart Build.
Press start — prop your phone up so it can see you. A live overlay shows the current exercise and your rep count.
Just move — MyRepsCount tracks key points on your body to recognize each rep. No taps required.
Track your progress — get a summary after every workout and watch your totals climb.

WHY MyRepsCount?
Never lose count mid-set again.
No buttons to press, no manual logging.
Block distractions and actually finish your workout.
Everything stays on your device.
See real, measurable progress over time.
It's your workout — we just count it for you.

### 1/5 — Sucks at counting

*2026-08-04*

Bad

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to comment. Can you share if you completed the tutorial or read the exercise guides that explain how to get the reps to count? Because the tracking is done entirely on-device via your camera, elements like lighting or camera angle can occasionally cause missed reps. We've had over 500,000 reps successfully logged since release, so I'd love to help figure out what's throwing off the tracking in your setup. I'm actively working to make the app more robust, and your insights would be incredibly helpful. Please reach out to me at myfitcounts@gmail.com so we can get this sorted out!

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2026-07-30*

It’s fully free and functional. I love hearing the ding after a successful push-up! Highly recommend :D

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the review! The ding is one of my favorite parts, definitely helps push out extra reps at the end. I am continuing to add more exercises but if there is a new exercise or feature you would like to see added please message myfitcounts@gmail.com and I can try to add for the future.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-05-16*

I get that this is sort of free but the fact that it doesn’t count ninety percent of the reps that you do is disappointing

**Developer response:** I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this. Just to clarify, the app has been completely free since launch. We've always provided full access at no cost—and as of our 5.7 release, this includes 27 exercises, all workout types, a new catalog, the WOD, free SmartBuild every 12 hours, and the focus feature, with only a single ad surfacing after your workout is fully complete.

Because the tracking is done entirely on-device via your camera, elements like lighting or camera angle can occasionally cause missed reps. We've had over 115,000 reps successfully logged since release, so I'd love to help figure out what's throwing off the tracking in your setup. ### 1/5 — Unfair, competition, and unreliable tracking not worth it

*2026-03-31*

I participate in the monthly leaderboard challenge which I will get to that, the app is extremely unreliable Half of my reps weren’t counted, which makes the tracking basically useless on the last day of the competition. The owner somehow “beat” me. By an unrealistic amount of reps on the last day and not by many as well as my number count went down 1,000 in the last hours and he went up over 2,400 in an hour and he only beat me by 133 so he could see what I was at because the website only updates every hour so he made sure he new how much I had because he can see that because he is the owner and made sure he had more then me by removing mine and adding his fake reps and since he controls, the app it seems like it can be easily manipulated. Honestly, the idea of the tracking thing is kind of dumb cause it doesn’t work and just count it yourself it’s poorly designed doesn’t count reps correctly and offers little to know variety of different workouts. it makes it hard to use for anything other than one type of exercise. Between the broken tracking and the Conflict of interest in lack of useful and working feature I can’t recommend this app to anyone for a fair and functional fitness tool stay away from this app there are plenty better ones out there.

**Developer response:** I hear your frustration, and I appreciate you taking the time to share this. I want to clear up the confusion regarding the final leaderboard standings.

Currently, the leaderboard syncs when a workout is 'Finished.' This means sessions started days or weeks earlier can appear as a sudden jump in reps once submitted. While the reps are accurately tracked by the app, I realize this makes the final hours of a challenge feel unreliable which is why the April challenge is focused on active days over reps.

I also recognize the perceived conflict of interest with the developer being on the leaderboard. To keep things 100% fair, I have opted to recuse myself from the March standings. Please reach out to me at myfitcounts@gmail.com. I'd like to review your logs and discuss the final standings with you directly so we can resolve this fairly for everyone involved.

### 5/5 — Convenient and Reliable App

*2026-01-27*

Very useful for at-home workouts. Takes the brain work out of keeping track of reps. Includes fun fitness challenges for both kids and adults.

### 5/5 — Reliable and Engaging

*2026-01-17*

This app is a great workout tracker that’s easy to use but still really powerful. The exercise tracking is thorough, helps improve my form, and the AI workout builder makes it simple to put together solid workouts without overthinking it. I especially like the competitive side of the app, with workouts of the day and monthly challenges. The monthly challenges and leaderboard are a fun way to stay motivated and keep pushing. Overall, it’s a well-designed app that actually makes training more engaging.

### 5/5 — Such a useful app!

*2026-01-11*

This app is so useful. A lot of times it is so easy to avoid a workout without a trainer because of the mental planing that must take place as well, but this app gives you ideas and tracks it all for you so you just have to show up!
