The company engages in manipulative tactics and makes false promises in an attempt to extract money from customers. Their conduct is deeply unprofessional and unacceptable **Developer response:** Hi, Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Please reach out to our live chat agents through our website or the MyRepublic mobile app. They are available Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm. Thank you! - MC ### 1/5 — Poor after purchase service *2025-09-29, version 3.0.3* The worst telco service ever. No customer service. Fail to deduct payment from our bank several times over consecutive months, charge us penalties and terminate our services as and when they wish. Even when we've made payments manually, they've fail to reinstate the services but still continue to request payment for the following month. ### 1/5 — Porting over to another telco *2025-08-16, version 2.7.3* I wanted to change to StarHub but was unsuccessful in porting over despite StarHub assurance that it would done in 24 hrs. Spoken to Kris from Republic and she checked and confirmed my details correctly. She arranged my porting over on 31Aug2025 contrary to my request to have it done asap. She also wanted to terminate my line although she knew I wanted to port over my line. My 5g plan is value for money. ### 1/5 — The worst! *2025-04-06, version 2.6.1* The irony of an internet company have a website and app that doesnt work! It lags like crazy/ freezes, the chat is useless as all the agents are clueless and never follow up as promised. The chats then get closed while they ask you to wait for their response and you have to go back through the whole soul destroying process again. If you haven’t signed up yet: DON’T!!! ### 1/5 — Terrible service *2025-04-02, version 2.6.0* Relocating to my new home is such a big hassle that they chose not to enquire me about the status of termination point. One port is taken the other, my younger brother already took it. Now already installed a new one beside it. Hais…now this kind of service from them. Agents not available on chat, but no clue if it actually works as we’re unable to get to main screen with balances, etc. you will be flying blind on your data usage, which could be the reason they do not want you to see it.
