## What is MyRevolution App?

MyRevolution is a professional networking and social Causes-based platform.  As there are social sites for friends and family, networking sites for professionals, and business directories for businesses, MyRevolution brings the best of these platforms to Causes and their supporters. Users can use the platform to find and start supporting their favorite Causes, or discover new Causes that inspire them to get involved. On the other end, users can use the platform to launch their own Causes and start building a following. The social features allow you to discover other users who share your passions. The robust networking and engagement features allow Causes to find their audience, engage their communities, and attract supporters to their Cause.  

Core features of the Social, Networking, and Listing tools include (but not limited to)...

Cause Pages:
- Organizations and Users can register or claim a Cause page or launch their own Cause page.  The Cause page is the home-base with a unique URL to share and invite others to learn about the Cause, mission statement, location, how to get involved, discover other supporters, etc..

User Profiles:
- Users can create profiles, upload photos, and covers, follow other users, and share their profile URL with others.
- Extensive privacy controls.

Search:
- Discover Causes based on criteria (category, location/distance, etc...)
- Find other supporters that share your interest and passions. 

Blog:
- Causes and Users can start a blog and publish articles to spread their message, educate readers, and engage their communities.
- Blog articles can be shared and commented on by other users.

Activity Stream:
- Causes can keep their supporters up to date on the latest happenings or communications and truly engage their communities.
- Users can let the world know what’s on their mind, provide updates on their passionate journeys to help change the world, and inspire others.

Events:
- Cause and Users can launch events.  Events can be used as fundraisers, town-halls, community clean-ups, etc... Events can be one-time or recurring.

Photos:
- Causes and Users can upload photos and create albums.  Users can also like and comment on media.

Videos:
- Causes and Users can upload and play videos. Users can also like and comment on media.

Messaging:
- Causes and Users can directly message other users and manage their own inboxes.

Direct Chat:
- Instant chat allows users to have conversations in realtime.
