I’m literally writing this as I wait for a 40 which seems will never come even thought the app says it’s on its way it doesn’t notify you if a bus or route is delayed and the ui is way too clunky and needs improving like I said if u couldn’t see the busses live in the map I’d say don’t waste ur time with it ### 2/5 — Arrival times inaccurate *2024-09-16* The app is accurate I’d say about 30-40% of the time. It’s a shame really. I feel like more people would be willing to ride BCT if they were able to track the buses in real time. Personally if I could track the transit vehicles with the level of precision I can track an Uber, BCT would be my main method of transportation. ### 2/5 — some Buses aren’t on time *2024-07-02* currently writing this review as i’m waiting as mosquito food for the next bus sometime in the next 30 minutes to hop on for an hour ride back home. the app is helpful when some of the buses are traceable- sometimes they don't show up on the map. this makes it a little hard to determine whether or not the bus arrived before you got there or will be arriving shortly, waiting for bus drivers who just simply don’t care. makes people more prone to getting bit up by mosquitoes at stops where there are lots of plant life.. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2024-02-21, version 2.1.2* Nice concept. There needs to be a warning whenever buses are running late or it broke down! The slowness and the glitches are getting annoying! ### 2/5 — what you should expect from broward county *2024-01-18* first of all, i just want to say that real time bus times should be available in the ticketing app and we shouldn't need two apps. this is really inconsistent. first of all, the app decides where you are (and often decides you are across the street) and then shows the nearest bus. it is not always the correct bus. the app will also navigate AWAY from the bus you are trying to see the time of and select whatever bus it wants. so then you might be looking at the wrong time because the app has selected another bus and if you blink you miss it. the most frequent issue is that the app will often tell you the bus is one minute away and then suddenly it's 20+ minutes away so you have to find another bus or call the line, which renders everything pointless and lame, kind of like the bus service itself, which is mediocre on a good day. ### 1/5 — 12/30/2023 *2023-12-30, version 2.1.2* Saturday 3:07 pm, closed since morning, from 9:48 am ### 1/5 — Incredibly Difficult to Use *2023-10-08* This app is impossible to use because it’s too slow and way to difficult to figure out. I have seen buses come to my stop 10 min late with no update on the app. It is even worse when they come earlier (the time on the app never changes), and I miss the bus which does not come back before 45 min. Counting on this app to do its job is a huge waste of both time and money. It can barely tell my real location on the map. There’s neither precision in nor automatic updates on the location. Just this morning I was in front of a bus stop but the map showed I already passed it. Massive inconvenience. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work *2024-03-13* First of all, this should be integrated with the BCT ticketing app. Two apps to ride the bus should not be necessary. This app sometimes works. It mostly does not work. It will navigate away from the bus route you're trying to get information on, the location services will sometimes put you at a different place than your actual location, and it sometimes will not load at all. I complained about real time arrival to BCT and they told me that because that route was on a detour that real time arrival wasn't available. So, in short, it doesn't work. It won't tell you if a bus has a detour either, and neither will the ticketing app - you have to sign up for email alerts to find out about service changes, and sometimes they don't even send those until after the fact. Today something was up. I’m not sure if the bus stop (Pompano Beach by Michael’s) was moved, but the app told me it was right next to Michael’s, so I waited there, thinking the bus stop sign was past it for visibility purposes for the bus driver. So the bus stops at the stop before this one, and I wave at the bus driver. But apparently the sign was where the bus stop actually was, and it ended up passing me. Anyway, I’d had a feeling that the bus stop was next to Michael’s before, so I believe that the location of the stop just hasn’t been updated yet. I would like this resolved, for me, and for others who have no idea what happens with traffic in Broward.
