### 4/5 — Mostly great, seems a bit Euro-focused

*2026-07-03, version 5.2*

I bought a lifetime membership after using the app and planner for several months. No regrets and few complaints (need to dig deep sometimes to get to features that should be on the map screen). It seems to be focused on European riding with its details, though, and for me who lives in Mèxico and Central America, the map updates seem slow to update as these areas develop new roads.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2026-06-09, version 5.1*

Does almost everything that I want it to do, although some things seem to difficult to find and not located in an intuitive place. The one thing that is does not do that other navigation apps do, is tell me the name of the street that I am on currently. That would be a great feature to add.

### 2/5 — Pathetic

*2026-04-07, version 5.0.4*

Such a lack of intuitive navigating the site. No ability to print your routes. Moving between screens causes you to lose what you’ve already done.

### 2/5 — Great app…but

*2026-01-23, version 5.0.2*

Fabulous app and just what I have been looking for. It gets my routes right there right in front of me where I need them on my Garmin…but oh my goodness please sort out your issue. Every time I press the letter n on my iPad I lose all planning. This has been sorted once and was resolved but has come back since the last update. I’m loyal to the app and want to stick with it but need this sorting please. Five stars once it’s working right.

### 4/5 — Now we’re talking

*2025-11-15, version 5.0.0*

Latest update in November 2025, made this app a game changer

### 2/5 — No

*2025-10-25, version 4.4.1*

Incredibly unintuitive

### 5/5 — Greatest app I’ve used so far

*2025-10-19, version 4.4.1*

Incredible easy to use and share with my group, wait for the lifetime version to go on sale and get it, you will not be disappointed

### 4/5 — Almost perfect, except…

*2025-10-17, version 4.4.1*

I’ve used several navigation apps for planning motorcycle rides. Calimoto seemed good but the web planner is slow and navigation fails if you miss a waypoint. Scenic has been great but has no web planner. I tried Rever 3 times and just never liked it. Then I found MyRoute-app, and it checked all the boxes, and I love the navigation - except for one thing.

The font for distance to the next turn is way too small - this is a real issue when on a motorcycle and I only want to glance at my navigation but instead have to look down and focus to see how far to my next turn.

Fix that and it will be perfect in my book.

### 5/5 — Excellent route planning tool

*2025-10-02*

I have been using My Route App since it was called Tyre - it is great for planning motorcycle club rides and also our continental caravan trips. Having in out in dimensions for a Camper (to match our caravan) it has never yet tried to take me under a low bridge or tunnel. The ability to plan using TomTom Maps means that when I upload to my TomTom I l know it will track true. However using Michelin maps or Google maps / satellite view and street view is so helpful when choosing campsites and the best approach road. Another big plus is the ability to share routes with other bike club members who can than upload to their own sat nav head units and also receive and upload GOX files from other planning tools used by friends

### 4/5 — Almost perfect, except…

*2025-09-25*

I’ve used several navigation apps for planning motorcycle rides. Calimoto seemed good but the web planner is slow and navigation fails if you miss a waypoint. Scenic has been great but has no web planner. I tried Rever 3 times and just never liked it. Then I found MyRoute-app, and it checked all the boxes, and I love the navigation - except for two things.

One, when on a highway and coming up on an exit, a dropdown showing you which lane to be in takes up half the screen, covering important information. Two, the font for distance to the next turn is way too small - this is a real issue when on a motorcycle and I only want to glance at my navigation but instead have to look down and focus to see how far to my next turn.

Fix those two things and it will be perfect in my book.

### 5/5 — Easiest

*2025-09-06, version 4.4.1*

I’ve tried a few. This one I would give the title as most user friendly. I did need just a few minutes on YouTube to get going, but after that everything else was pretty intuitive.

### 5/5 — The Best Route Planning App

*2025-08-09, version 4.4.0*

The app, once mastering the learning curve, is easy to use and creates great custom routes. The routes are exportable in different formats, usable in lots of other navigation apps. It’s my go to route planning app on all platforms.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2025-07-26*

Does almost everything that I want it to do, although some things seem to difficult to find and not located in an intuitive place. The one thing that is does not do that other navigation apps do, is tell me the name of the street that I am on currently. That would be a great feature to add.

### 4/5 — Good, but improvements needed

*2025-07-17, version 4.4.0*

Relatively easy to create and share a route, but you MUST review every foot of your route in case the software wants you to go down an alley or off and back on an expressway. The program is not intuitive and really has a lot of glitches, but it’s better than a lot of the other programs I’ve used.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Make an account

*2026-08-11, version 5.2.1*

I HATE apps that let you download them. Use them for a little bit. THEN hit you with the “make an account” to continue. 1 star trash app

### 1/5 — Unclear subscription services

*2026-07-15, version 5.2*

I paid for the lifetime subscription which was over $100. When I went to navigate my route, it tells be I have to upgrade my subscription. I’ve attempted reaching out to the company several times and have not gotten a response.
When I had used it on the free trial it worked well. But I can’t support a company that has little regard for its customers.

### 1/5 — Terrible for trucks

*2026-03-10, version 5.0.4*

I used an iPhone 15 pro and it could not keep my location steady, so I decided to go for the gold sub to see if this helped, no it didn’t. The app was slow and clunky. I then bought a mobile modem but still very slow and could not keep my location steady. I made sure all items were updated but still not a trust worthy app. With such a large vehicle if anything happens you are guilty whether someone else’s fault or not, NO TRUST in this app HGV’s just go for TomTom expert it’s cheaper and superior.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-12-11, version 5.0.1*

They are scamming my credit card!!!

### 1/5 — Horrible app not user friendly

*2025-11-08, version 4.4.1*

Horrible app not user friend friendly. Help yourself and stay away from it

### 1/5 — Has in app purchase

*2025-10-15, version 4.4.1*

Doesn’t state that it has in app purchases but actually does.

### 1/5 — Steve M

*2025-06-22, version 4.3.9*

Took this out to use on Alps tour stopped working 3/4 days into trip now they’ve stopped another month rubbish

### 1/5 — Useless!

*2025-05-31, version 4.3.9*

I have subscribed, but can’t use it, waste of money!

### 1/5 — Dabittle

*2025-05-05, version 4.3.8*

Yes

### 1/5 — Next navigation

*2025-04-28*

I have given the Next navigation system the benefit of the doubt by trying it on two occasions for trips abroad - once to Morocco and the other to Europe from the UK - and on BOTH occasions I have been absolutely appalled at this navigation system. It is not fit for purpose and kept crashing on my CarPlay. I will not be trying this rubbish navigation again!
I must however balance this by saying the MyRoute app is great for planning, but it all changes when you subscribe to the navigation! So all your learning on the MyRoute App is destroyed by the navigation and the maps have to be downloaded again and still did not work off-line!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The only route planner you’ll need.

*2026-06-28, version 5.2*

Been using it for years now. Low cost lifetime membership, works both online and off very easy to plan and use with lots of extra features street view reverse route etc.., plans rides for you too. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Best App Motorcycle Touring

*2026-05-16, version 5.1*

I’ve been doing long distance touring of the US for the last ten years and this app is the best! I’ve tried all the big name navigation apps but MyRoute makes routes with multiple stops the most efficient. It is virtually the only one that will give you seamless navigation when stopping at each location. I get back on the bike after a stop and as soon as CarPlay reconnects the app asks if I want to continue navigating my route. One tap on the screen versus having to pull up each waypoint manually during the trip with other apps. The elevation icon with the compass ring is an excellent new feature. Highly recommend this app!

### 5/5 — Great App for motorcycle trips

*2026-03-14, version 5.0.4*

I have been using this App for a number of years now and love it, I plan lead rides for our group and transfer it to my GPS.

### 5/5 — Really good navigation

*2026-02-18, version 5.0.3*

I use it for my motorbike rides and app got really good. It used to use a lot of battery and UI used to be a bit “old fashioned” but with recent changes it’s all fixed. The app is great for planning and navigation is as good as they get.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2026-02-13, version 5.0.2*

I have had MRA for three years and use it for my motorcycle rides through Europe. Easy to use and helps me dream!

### 5/5 — Best update so far.

*2025-12-24*

The version 5.0.2 update is a great step. It adds free drive. This has been something that makes you want to keep the app open even when not using a rout navigation. I’ve not actually tried it yet but the idea is that you get other driving info on the screen, such as posted speeds etc. I know it’s not a replacement for actually looking for signs but it helps for those times when you’re not 100% of what the limit may be. It gives a good idea. Well done Myroute App. Thanks.

### 5/5 — My route App review

*2025-11-28, version 5.0.0*

This is the best route planning software avail. I have used it for more than 7 years to plan rides to all 49 states. It is easy to use and easy to transfer to either a Garmin or HD. I highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Great for Panning

*2025-11-27, version 5.0.0*

I decided to buy the Gold lifetime version, which is great for planning a route in finite detail.
The only down side is, I would have to pay extra for the ability to use the route on my phone as a Sat Nav…

### 5/5 — Never fails

*2025-11-25, version 5.0.0*

MyRouteApp never fails to get me to my destination via some excellent roads and the whole set up just works, simple as that, it just works

### 5/5 — Great, but!

*2025-11-21, version 5.0.0*

The latest update is great but I have one niggle. When just recording a trip in landscape mode you cannot minimise the “Good afternoon” sub-screen like you can in portrait mode. This is rather annoying as it blocks out half the screen. Please fix this!
