Thanks to the free Myse app, you can compile your own visit catalogue while consulting the details of each artwork. Download the app before you start your visit and let it guide you.
 
Fun and informative, easy and quick to use, your visit of the museum takes on a new dimension with Myse :

### 1/5 — Pas une bonne idée lorsqu’il y a du monde dans l’exposition

Je suis allée voir l’exposition sur Eugène Boudin à une heure d’affluence et comble de bonheur la majorité prenait des photos. Du coup j’ai plus vu les personnes prendre des photos que les oeuvres elles-mêmes.

L’appli fonctionne, certes. Mais les éclairages empêchent parfois que l’œuvre soit reconnue. Et la catalogue prétendument sur mesure obtenu à la fin est très cher et de qualité médiocre. Et surtout, alors que nos vies sont déjà saturées par les écrans, quel dommage de n’avoir pas su inventer quelque chose de plus intelligent. Marmottan est un beau bâtiment. Mais les expositions qui s’y déroulent sont souvent plan-plan. Même la collection Monet y est présentée de façon totalement académique et sans imagination. Marmottan est a l’image de son quartier : propre et rassurant, bourgeoisement confortable, mais sans imagination ni créativité. Il y a 100 autres lieux à visiter à Paris avant ce musée…

App worked exactly as promised right up to the preview of the final album, but then it wants me to take a photo for the front cover, why can’t I just use a photo from my library? At this point in my visit I’m standing in the bookstore having spent an hour or more walking through the museum taking photos and capturing my favorites in the app. So I don’t want to have to go all the way back to my favorite painting and snap the picture with app when I could just quickly upload a photo…. I don’t want a plain cover… or at least let me choose the cover that’s shown in app (that looked great).

Another helpful thing would be to give me a hint of how many images makes up a good book. I tagged 16 pictures thinking even numbers would be better but the turned them into a 23 page book….  Which seems a bit lopsided

J'ai récemment visité le Musée Marmottan à Paris et mon expérience a été absolument excellente. Avec des œuvres emblématiques de Monet et d'autres impressionnistes qui captivent l'œil. J'ai particulièrement apprécié la façon dont les œuvres sont exposées :-) 

J'ai également eu le plaisir de créer un catalogue de mes œuvres préférées, ( Merci Myse!!) et m'a permis de vraiment me connecter avec les pièces exposées. Le personnel du musée était très accueillant et compétent, toujours prêt à répondre à mes questions et à partager des informations sur les œuvres.

Je recommande vivement une visite au Musée Marmottan à tous. C'est une expérience inoubliable qui enrichit notre compréhension et notre appréciation de l'art impressionniste.

Appli très agréable, simple et ludique qui permet sur place d’enrichir son regard sur les œuvres. Et quel plaisir de repartir avec un catalogue personnalisé pour prolonger le plaisir de la visite à la maison (grande qualité d’impression en plus !)
