## What is myShuttleW?

myShuttle helps carpool and shuttle groups organize rides without the group-chat chaos.

For families:
- Submit your ride requests for the week in seconds
- Offer to drive, and get matched fairly based on rotation and how often your family has driven versus ridden
- See the published schedule for the week — who's driving, who's riding, and pickup details
- Move your child to a different ride yourself once the schedule is published, as long as there's room — the new driver is notified automatically
- Message other families directly, in group chats, school-wide chats, or a dedicated chat for each ride
- Get push notifications for new messages, reminders to submit your requests, and a heads-up before it's your turn to drive

For administrators:
- Run automatic ride assignment based on preferences, vehicle capacity, and fairness
- Manually reassign a rider or driver whenever plans change
- Review and approve the schedule before it goes out
- Manage holidays, shift times, and pickup locations, with a one-tap reset to the default schedule
- Track family and student rosters
- See who has and hasn't submitted requests each week, and a fairness view of rides given vs. taken per family

myShuttle is designed for private, invite-only communities — accounts are set up by your group's administrator, not through public sign-up.

This update adds:

- Chat — message anyone directly, join group chats, school-wide chats for Middle School and High School, and a dedicated chat for each ride
- Push notifications — get notified about new messages, reminders to submit your ride requests before they're due, and a heads-up about an hour before it's your turn to drive
- Move a ride after the schedule is published — parents can move their child to a different car themselves, as long as there's room, with the new driver and admins notified automatically
- A real default weekly schedule matching the actual school calendar

For admins:
- Manually reassign a specific rider to a different shift or car
- Reset any week's schedule back to the default with one tap
- A fairness view showing rides given vs. rides taken per family, so driving duties stay balanced over time

Plus a number of reliability fixes — chat notifications, in particular, are significantly more dependable in this update.
