Ich nutze die App jeden Tag und habe die PV-Anlage erst seit kurzer Zeit. Der KI-Modus ist arg verbesserungsbedürftig. MIt einem dynamischen Stromtarif gibt es gelegentlich den Fall, dass die KI den Batteriespeicher auflädt, obwohl der Strom nicht günstig ist. Diese Funktion mussten wir leider deaktivieren. Außerdem ist die Einstellung „sofortige manuelle Steuerung“ zwar gut - aber man kann lediglich „in Minuten verstellen“ - sprich: Die Option „Batterie halten“ muss ich von Minuten in Stunden umrechnen (8 Std = 480 Minuten). Es wäre schöner, wenn man hier auch Stunden und Minuten einstellen könnte. Für Eure Mühe - Vielen Dank! (Nachtrag vom 1.8.26 - leider keiner der angesprochenen Punkte behoben -> SCHADE) ### 3/5 — Was better before AI (v4.0.0) *2026-07-24* The used to be ok. Did most things I wanted and provided good info. My Wishlist would be for more conditional options in time-based control. However, in v4.0.0 they’ve now added AI in everything. It provides no value to me (it may for others). It just adds clutter to existing widgets and is often inaccurate. There needs to be a way to turn off all the AI stuff and it’s disappointing that the price of the product presumably included development of features that are unwanted. ### 4/5 — Slow to refresh when opening lately *2026-07-22* Used to be so quick to refresh and see what battery levels when opening the app. Has gotten really slow in the last few months.. from milliseconds to 5+ seconds difference. But all I can have is a massive widget and that shows stuff I don’t want like monthly production or a picture of a house that isn’t mine. Thanks team ———————— Since one of the new updates the app asks to connect to Bluetooth every time you open it. It’s annoying to have to decline every time/be asked every time. The widgets options are basic and I’d really like some Siri integration to be able ask what my status is. ### 3/5 — Gute App mit Potential *2026-05-24* Habe die App nun seit einem Monat im Betrieb. Läuft sehr stabil, nur sehr wenige und kurze Verzögerungen beim Daten aktualisieren. Leider funktioniert jedoch die Einbindung von shelly Geräten nicht stabil. Die shellys lassen sich zwar zunächst unkompliziert in die mySigen App einbinden, verlieren dann jedoch nach kurzer Zeit die Verbindung und werden als offline angezeigt. In der shelly App laufen sie aber stabil weiter. Feste IP, nur in der mySigen App einbinden, etc., habe ich bereits versucht. Hier muss Sigenergy aus meiner Sicht noch nacharbeiten. Bis dahin nutze ich zwei Apps für meine Geräte… ### 2/5 — Badly needs local operation mode without internet *2026-05-04, version 3.5.1* In many ways this is an excellent system giving all kinds of information and control settings for my system that has PV panels, batteries and a gateway. It’s also integrating well with some Shelly smart devices. But there is a massive issue with the lack of any facility for local control on a home network but without internet. My system is set up linked to my house network and that is linked to the web. However if you lose the connection to the outside world, then despite peer to peer networking still working within my house, the mySigen app just stops working. Can’t even monitor the system, let alone exercise any control. This is stupjd for a system with a gateway designed to operate with no grid power, given that an outage could also take out local ISP provision and phone towers. Developer priorities need to be focused on this more than gratuitous fancy graphics. There is a clunky mechanism to link to Home Assistant but the tools to allow linkage need to be enabled rather than being there by default. Just not good enough. LocalMySigen asap please. ### 3/5 — Does not handle multiple systems on the one network *2026-04-25* The app has a great, simple interface, but when two separate independent stacks are on the same network it confuses which data displays from each stack making it difficult to assess the status of the system. If that was fixed the app would be fantastic. ### 4/5 — Good app, signup could improve *2026-04-24* Provides a useful overview of the system and lets me control all aspects of the battery. Would give 5 stars if the initial signup worked properly with Apple Passwords. Currently it doesn’t accept an Apple generated password and it doesn’t have the hint required for iOS to know it’s a password field. Minor annoyance but easily fixed. ### 3/5 — Grundsolide *2026-04-15* Im Voraus: ich nutze die App ohne KI. Daher dient mir diese rein als Überblick meines Verbrauchs, Einspeisung usw. Darüber kann ich (fast) nur Positives berichten. Meine Daten werden mir immer binnen weniger Sekunden in der App in Echtzeit angezeigt und ich hatte auch sonst keinerlei Probleme mit der Anlage o.Ä. Zusätzlich ist die „Umschaltbox“ im Notfall so schnell umschaltend auf Inselbetrieb, dass man nicht mal ein Flackern des Lichts wahrnimmt. Wir nutzen die Anlage jetzt seit 4 Monaten und sind zufrieden. Korrekturnachtrag zu aktuellem Appupdate: App lädt oft nicht, muss mehrfach neu gestartet werden. Sehr nervig. One thing is that when my kWh unit rates change the AI MODE saving calculations assume all savings were made against the latest rates. It was quick and good price. This app is great to manage. We have now 16kw battery and 12kw solar. Our power bill is 80% cheaper than neighbours and no problem when power out. Our bill is now 50% daily connection fee the other 50% is grid power. We also have a 3 phase ducted air con running off our system We have 3 phase inverter ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — What? No bugs fixed? *2026-06-12* Been waiting forever to have several bugs fixed including utility rates being accurate for SDGE and not being able to name the second set of over arrays. So this is simply a sports feature update. No thanks, I’ll skip it. ### 1/5 — Not complete *2026-05-20* My husband and I want to use the app but they only allow 1 user. He tried to download the app and use my info but can only do this if I’m totally logged out of both of my devices! Then I tried to complain to them directly and fill out a form on their website but you need to tell them what state you live in and the alphabetical list starts with Connecticut and I live in California which is the state that has the largest amount of solar!!!!! I also have very little control over my battery compared to my other system in NY. Hello Tech support make some changes please!!!! ### 1/5 — Tägliches neu anmelden erforderlich und die App ist nicht barrierefrei zugänglich *2026-05-19* Weiter App muss täglich mit Zugangsdaten neu angemeldet werden, was nervig ist. Der Nutzer bleibt nicht angemeldet. Zudem ist die ganze App auch nicht barrierefrei nutzbar, da das Thema Barrierefreiheit in dieser App nicht beachtet wurde und es sehr viele Fehler gibt. Als ein Nutzer mit VoiceOver ist die App nicht wirklich bedienbar. ### 1/5 — account/App sign in is Dog Pooh *2026-01-18* Update to the below, the app seems to go on hols , like it doesn’t show any power discharging from the battery (shows the battery percentage) no power from the solar and no power going into the home from anywhere, so whilst it is communicating it renders itself ? Useless…. Have the app set up on iPhone, then try and sign in on iPad and it won’t take the email address or password even though it’s all 100%correct, (failed) then used another email address via invitation sent from the app on the iPhone, set up the email address and password and guess what Failed? Really! This company is far more interested in snooping on account holders rather than focusing on core business- providing a useful home owner monitoring APP!! To many business seem to be going down the same route, me - I’m backing away from anything that want your info! For what reason? I never provide legit details and seeing this App in operation, why would you want to? Deserves a minus 10 stars rating. The actual solar equipment, that part seem fine but the only got school boy app and account developers by the looks of it ### 1/5 — User does not exist *2026-01-18, version 3.3.2* Just updated the app and it logged me out and now says user does not exist. What the hell!!! ### 1/5 — No end user registration *2026-01-16, version 3.3.2* No option to register as an end user, which is frustrating. ### 1/5 — Date format wrong *2026-01-14, version 3.3.2* I put a request in on 03/01/2026 to change the date format back to UK from USA and the new update today has made it worse. From dd/mm/yyyy to mm/dd/yyyy to yyyy/mm/dd. Please make it possible to set own date format as you promised when I put in a support ticket. ### 1/5 — Date error!!! *2026-01-04, version 3.3.1* The latest version has flipped to the American date convention. Please change back to the date convention the rest of the world uses or give us the option to use the correct convention or the American one! ### 1/5 — Change of date format - not happy, Jan! *2026-01-03, version 3.3.1* The latest app “update” has change the date format from dd/mm/yyyy to the crazy US format mm/dd/yyyy. This is a ridiculous format for a date, that is far from used universally. Please change the format back to dd/mm/yyyy - now! ### 1/5 — 3.3.1 update date format issue! *2026-01-02, version 3.3.1* I am in Australia. I just updated to 3.3.1 App version. Now my Date format has been “broken” and set to American format I.e. MM-DD-YYYY! I cannot see how I can set this back to the way it was which is YYYY-MM-DD before this update? ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Check Sigen AI after update *2026-07-23* Overall really happy with the app. Although I saw Sigen AI needed to recalibrate, which in my case meant it added a new rule “Low-Price Replenish”. This rule replenishes the battery from the grid which is a bad outcome here in Australia. Especially when my solar configuration was generating more than enough to fully replenish the battery. Was quickly resolved using the AI chatbot. ### 5/5 — Useful *2026-07-16* The app does pretty well everything I would like it to do in a clear and logical manner. The Sankey chart which shows power flow is helpful, as is combined graph of solar generation, battery activity, household load and grid contribution. Easy to mentally calculate whether battery is sufficient to supply 100% of load overnight. Very easy to program export to grid during peak pricing. I like the AI help, even more so because the help button is easy to remove from the Home Screen. Simple to organise battery activity and to sort the app so unwanted features are hidden and I have what I would like at my fingertips. Appreciate the "community" section which has user suggestions to common problems. ### 5/5 — Excellent app supporting an excellent system *2026-06-05* Hi, My electricity provider allows me to import 20kWh free of charge between 11 AM to 2 PM before applying a fixed cents per kWh for remaining usage. I’m interested to know how Sigen app can support this scenario ### 5/5 — Outstanding App *2026-05-19* I had my Sigenstor and solar system installed in Feb 2026. The Sigenergy app provides an exceptional level of energy flow visibility compared to most residential solar platforms. The detailed breakdown of solar generation, household load sourcing, battery charge/discharge, and especially the distinction between solar-to-battery and grid-to-battery charging, allowed me to build a highly accurate historical reporting and financial analysis spreadsheet around my system. Most solar apps only show basic generation and import/export figures. Sigenergy exposes enough real operational data to genuinely understand how energy moves through the home, how effectively the battery is being utilised, and what real-world savings are being achieved. For users who care about analytics, optimisation, battery behaviour, or validating system ROI beyond surface-level graphs, the depth of insight this app provides is a major strength. My only complaint is how obscure some settings are. For example, users have to navigate some weird way with lot of indirection to change the 3D view. Should have been just available under customise.
