I appreciate the concept of connecting learners for real-time conversation practice. However, since yesterday, I have been facing a major issue. The app is unable to connect me with any random co-learner, no matter how many times I try. I have waited for several minutes on multiple occasions, but every attempt ends with the same message: “Uh-oh!! We could not find a Random co-learner for you. Can you please try once again shortly?” This problem has made the app unusable for speaking practice. Please investigate and fix this issue as soon as possible. If this is a server-side problem or a temporary bug, it would be helpful to inform users through an in-app notification. I really enjoy using Sivi and hope this issue is resolved soon. I started using this app on Oct 25, 2024, and now I’ve connected with 1,700+ co-learners. At first, I couldn’t speak confidently, but now I can talk with anyone without hesitation. AI Arya Teacher is helpful, and I love that I can practice anytime. App respects privacy and provides a safe space to learn. Mistakes still happens, but that’s part of learning, and talking to people from different places has improved my listening skill too. There are a lot of arrogant people on here who disconnect calls frequently, and many users seem to make fun of others, which can be uncomfortable. I feel the app should work on reducing these negative behaviors. They offer a 3-day free trial, but after that they automatically charge ₹299. The payment method has auto-pay enabled, so users should make sure to turn off auto-renewal if they do not want to be charged. Also, there is no refund option after the payment is taken. Despite not using the service, I was still charged ₹299 for the next billing cycle. When I reinstalled the app, my account appeared as a new account, and I could not access any of the benefits for which I was charged. This made the situation even more frustrating. I tried contacting customer support multiple times, but there has been no response at all. The lack of support and clarity regarding subscriptions is extremely disappointing. At no point was it clearly mentioned that I would be charged ₹300 as a subscription fee. I did not use the application after downloading it, and within four days, I uninstalled it. However, despite uninstalling the app and not using any of its features, ₹300 was deducted from my account without my knowledge or authorization. Nowhere in the application was it clearly and transparently stated that a subscription fee of ₹300 would be charged. The only amount mentioned at the time of payment was ₹3. This lack of clear disclosure is misleading and constitutes an unfair and deceptive practice. Since I neither used the application’s services nor authorized this deduction, I request an immediate and full refund of ₹300. Kindly process the refund at the earliest and confirm the same.
