## What is MyskyLabs?

My Sky (Mysky) is for anyone who loves the Moon and wants more than a rough guess — precise astronomical calculations in a beautiful, flexible app.

FLEXIBLE TIME & CALENDAR SETTINGS
• Any point on Earth: map, cities, coordinates
• Moonrise and moonset in your iPhone time zone or in the time zone of the selected location — independent of where you physically are
• Regional date format: match your device, pick a country/region, or use ISO 8601
• Calendar grid: follow your iPhone system or the app’s language and date format
• View events in the time representation that suits you — not only “where you stand right now”

10 INTERFACE LANGUAGES
Russian, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Chinese (Simplified).

APPEARANCE THEMES
Seven visual themes: Classic Dark, Ocean Light, Lunar Silver, Deep Space, Starry Night, Cosmic Purple, and Supernova. From calm classics to the cosmic Supernova look with premium chrome.

MOON & CALENDAR
• Current phase, illumination, moonrise and moonset
• Full lunar calendar by day and month
• Detailed data: distance, angular diameter, altitude and azimuth, LST, sidereal zodiac, constellation
• Main screen Moon — 2D or 3D (your choice)

ECLIPSES
• Search solar and lunar eclipses by date range — from 1 CE onward
• Three precision engines: fast, scientific (VSOP87), and NASA Precise (1901–2100)
• Details: type, magnitude, gamma, duration, Saros cycle, retroactive time zones for historical dates
• Compare engine results in the metrics section

MAP & CITIES
• Moon today for any city worldwide
• Popular cities and saved locations
• Precise coordinates for topocentric calculations

SPACE WEATHER (Pro)
• Solar wind and geomagnetic activity events (NOAA data)
• Event history and archive

SUPERNOVA (Pro)
• Maximum astronomical accuracy mode (WGS84, Meeus, topocentric)
• 3D Sun–Earth–Moon visualization
• AR Supernova

WIDGETS
• Moon phase and key parameters on your Home Screen
• Enhanced widget layout with Pro

DATA EXPORT (Pro & advanced tools)
• Export eclipse metrics as JSON for analysis and engine comparison
• Share Moon data as text or JSON
• System metrics and calculation engine information

CALCULATIONS ON YOUR DEVICE
All astronomical math runs locally on your iPhone or iPad. Mysky does not send your coordinates or calculations to developer servers. For space weather, the app only contacts the official NOAA API.

MYSKY PRO
Subscription unlocks: eclipse search, Space Weather, Supernova, metrics export, and the full widget. Plans: monthly, annual, and lifetime. Manage your subscription in app Settings and in your Apple ID account.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-03

Advanced Eclipse Engine 2.0 — a major leap to professional-grade accuracy.

We rebuilt and recalibrated our physical eclipse engine against NASA’s Five Millennium Canon of Solar Eclipses (years 1–2999). Full catalog coverage: every reference eclipse found. Types match the canon in 99.9% of cases — only 17 events differ, at noise level against a multi-millennium catalog. Median timing error about 0.39 minutes; median duration error about 2.7 seconds. Versus NASA, median gamma error is about 0.0009 Earth radii and median magnitude error about 0.0008.

Our hybrid detector found every hybrid eclipse across those three millennia (295/295), with the same high fidelity as total, annular, and partial types.

The engine uses only physical principles and formulas — not ad-hoc heuristics: Earth–Moon–Sun geometry is modelled in a single physical framework. It is one of the few eclipse calculation libraries written strictly for iOS, running fully on-device.

Local visibility is more rigorous too: topography, observer elevation, and the path band are included so results better match what you can actually see from your location.

Eclipse search is free for ±5 years around today. The full historical and future range remains available with Eclipse Pro.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-07-18

Performance fix: App Store builds are now archived as Release (optimized), matching local Xcode Release. Fixes time scrubber lag present in previous Debug-archived builds.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-16

- New Dynamic Time Explorer: browse the Moon timeline across +/-100 years and see position, phase, and key parameters for any moment.
- Smoother date readout when zooming the time scale.
- Performance improvements and bug fixes.

### 1.0 — 2026-06-15

No release notes.
