It could still be more intuitive (Time of use functions etc) and why do we still not have critical alerts? This is especially true when a generator is part of the power system. This has happened a couple of times! ### 2/5 — Login frustration *2025-08-30, version 1.1.7* Like others I am frustrated that the app makes me log in repeatedly (sometimes multiple times in a single day). Other than that I find the reporting functionality reasonable. I do wish that on the default Day view you could see a daily sum of the key metrics (PV, Load, Grid) as well as those values for the currently selected 5 minute increment rather than having to switch to the Month view. ### 3/5 — constant logins *2025-08-29, version 1.1.7* UI is good once you’re in the app but why do i need to login every time i open it? It makes you close out and log back in every single time! It doesn’t do Face ID which would be helpful if you’re going to have to log in every time. It’s not my bank account, it’s just my battery level…I don’t need such security, I just want to know if my refrigerator is running when we are away ### 2/5 — Needs improvement *2025-07-17, version 1.1.7* Some of it works, some does not. The graphs are nice, but the app is not intuitive. And you cannot actually CONTROL anything from the app - it simply reads data from the inverter. The most recent upgrade was actually a downgrade: FaceID no longer works, so you have to remember a password every few days. And the historical usage/ROI data no longer exists, so over a year’s worth of history is gone. Cone on, guys, you’re better than this. ### 2/5 — Need a few updates *2025-07-15, version 1.1.7* It keeps asking to log in almost every time i open it. Need to update it to successfully save account info. ROI data is gone and now the app screens won’t show the energy exported on my graphics. The values of the Grid and Home energy usage are also wrong. ### 1/5 — Too many changes *2025-06-26, version 1.1.7* Every time I go in to look at this thing, it’s new and different. They keep on chiseling away at useful information. It’s presented on the app. It is very irritating. They keep doing this. The last thing they have done away with your your return on investment. It is almost infuriating. Ce sont des “bugs” qui doivent être réglés par des “bug fixes” bien entendu. ### 3/5 — Updates blow away historical data *2025-06-23, version 1.1.6* The app is okay at showing daily generation and usage and it is nice to be able to look back over prior days. It was really fun to watch the ROI and carbon and reds saved data, but ever since the last update that was wiped out and all those categories show 0. Front screen where you choose which plant used to give an amount of energy generated but it always shows 0 also. Hope these downgrades can be fixed in future updates. It would also be nice if it kept display selections when changing through different days. When comparing one day to another, I have to turn off the data I don’t want to see with each day. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App Can’t Add *2026-02-05, version 1.1.9* I used it gauge what my electric bill will be as to know how much I grid sold verses used. Sadly I find the month to date does not match adding the days individually. The last electric bill estimate was off by $25, I calculated using a spread sheet, and though well I don’t know exactly when the meter was read. That’s when I found out the days don’t add to the month, couldn’t figure where they got the difference either. Used their support in the past and its exasperating, plan on switch to SA or write my own. ### 1/5 — Non-functional app *2025-12-20, version 1.1.9* At best you can occasionally view basic information. Setting changes do not take effect. You cannot view your gateway, inverter, or battery status. Be prepared to call sol-ark or your installer for anything and everything because you aren’t left with any convenient way to diy ### 1/5 — Decepcionada con la app *2025-09-30, version 1.1.8* Muy mala la aplicación no me deja ver lo qué uno consume en el mes y año. Deberían de arreglar eso ya qué sin eso uno no sabe si se excede o no en el consumo. Cuando uno intenta entrar a la aplicación se queda cargando y no hace nada. ### 1/5 — Latest changes, non functional *2025-09-24, version 1.1.8* The latest changes has made the app non-functional in several areas. The historical data (month, year) is no longer displaying and just hangs waiting for data. No ability to download actual daily, monthly, or yearly data. Color of bar graphs are very similar so it is difficult to see what is being reported. Clicking on a graph usually brings a pop up window that is outside the screen. ### 1/5 — MySolArk is not working! *2025-09-17, version 1.1.8* What is going on with the mysolark app??? 1. It never updates production without pulling down to refresh, a big downgrade from the old app. 2. When pulling down to refresh, it frequently just logs me out, so I have to log back in again in order to open the app. 3. On the login page, everything is grayed out, so I just have to guess where to enter information and check to enable login, another big downgrade from the old app, or even how mysolark used to work. 4. Even when I do get logged in, as often as not no production is shown, zero production, it’s like it’s an orphan app, not connected to anything, much less the system it says it is connected to. 5. It has consistently failed to show any battery bank information, even though the 15K shows it all. PLEASE FIX THIS APP SO SOMETHING WORKS!!! ### 1/5 — Need work *2025-09-17, version 1.1.8* It’s really sad to see such a great inverter tied to such an awful app. Incredibly dated looking and has a very awkward interface. The solar production is working just fine, however, the MySolArk app seems like it was an after-thought. It requires me to log in a number of times, even on the same day. How about a “keep me logged in on this device” option, or at least a FaceID option that happens automatically? Although I can see production and usage across days/weeks/months, some reporting feature that would allow me to select some parameters, and create a report would be very helpful. As I’m tweaking things with my solar company, I’m have to go day by day, sometimes hour-by-hour, writing each number down, then making calculations on paper. I entered the same username and PW from the previous pvinteless site and all my data and history is there. I haven’t explored every bit of the app but at least the basic functionality is all there and working well. Finally! I was getting pretty nervous about having an “off-shore” company with control of my expensive SolArk when Washington is spinning up as they are against said “off-shore” place. What a relief. ### 5/5 — Works Perfectly *2024-06-05* No problems at all and is working without any problems. ### 4/5 — Was working great for a while *2025-09-18, version 1.1.8* Love the app and the concept. The data collection worked well, up until a couple months ago when all the longterm data would magically reset daily. The. Just after the latest update (which I ran Sept 17th), the longterm data returned. But now (Sept 18, 2025) nothing is working and the app claims the system is offline (which is not the case). I am really hoping the bugs can get resolved as it is a great tracking app otherwise. ### 4/5 — Good but not great *2025-04-19, version 1.1.6* Good general functionality and data is easily parsed. Ok except Last data point is a time in the future and 0 for solar output. ### 4/5 — More data and flexibility desirable *2024-11-14* Works much better than the old app. Would like to see 1) a summary of all daily parameters instead of having to view the monthly data chart to get this information (does it include the load when no PV generation is taking place?), 2) even without batteries, it would be very useful to see the load updated over the entire 24 hours of the graph, not only when PV is generating power, and 3) for some reason, the version number of the app appears nowhere to be seen; wasn’t there a gear earlier one could click on to get that information? ### 4/5 — Overall great *2024-06-12* Like many I ran Pv Pro until it said to migrate to this app. Installed, logged in using credentials from pv pro and it loaded just fine. Haven’t checked for all back history and data but it did load all my setting to include my “possible” kw production capability. With that said, I do enjoy the dark mode as I’m a night worker. Some small items to maybe tweak: buttons at bottom are slightly too low. Also, please change over to megawatts once we have produced that much. We dont need to see something like 19,387 kw produced. Megawatt would clean it up some. Other than that its rolling along nicely. Waiting for minor tweaks. ### 4/5 — Don’t like Dark Mode, otherwise works perfectly. *2024-06-07* The app now works and all systems that we have installed in the past several years have been migrated over and show up. However, the Dark Mode is annoying because some of the colors are hard to see and differentiate, especially when looking at the equipment instead of the Overview.
