I paid the unlock fee over a year ago. I bought a new iPad and installed it on it. The restore purchase button doesn’t work. I emailed the developer 2 weeks ago now and have yet to receive a response. Update. After leaving a review here the button worked. No feedback. I guess they just fixed it. ### 3/5 — Fun but brief *2026-04-16* The puzzles are fun but the game is short, so £15 seems pricy for what it is. The controls are a bit of a mess - it seems weird that you can’t move and move the camera at the same time like in other games, and the imprecision of doing things like turning veeeery sensitive dials is a lot harder when you’re not using a mouse. I will say i was pretty underwhelmed by the puzzles after passing the $22 paywall for the full game. for that price i was expecting a little more playtime and content, and for the puzzles to be way way more challenging. The ages puzzles didn't really feel like puzzles at all, more like just running around or trial and error, which was a bit disappointing but i understand this is a rebuild of an already existing game so those puzzles/levels were pre determined by the original and could not really be changed?. regardless of that, i had a great time playing this and the graphics were really charming and honestly impressive for a game run on my little ipad! yay <3 ### 3/5 — Fan for life *2025-12-15, version 1.9.3* I love this game to death and it looks stunning on my iPhone 17 Pro but Cyan tragically fumbled on the controls on this. They should have taken inspiration from The Witness mobile version which is the perfect way to navigate 3D worlds like this. Unfortunately the controls on Myst mobile feel like driving a car and ruin the sense of exploring new worlds. I’d never played the first Myst game before, only Myst 3 Exile on the OG Xbox, and was looking for the best and most accessible way to experience it, and this did not disappoint. I just finished this today, without a guide or walkthrough, and my advice to anyone going in is try your best to do the same. Even if you spend a day stuck in one puzzle, it is far more gratifying when you finally try something new and it works. All the answers are in the game. You just need to find them. I don’t understand why other people are complaining about the controls but they probably just are not used to mobile gaming. I find them to be very responsive and nice to use. And the setting you can change however you want. And I’ve found the upgrades to be very tasteful. So it’s a winner so far in my book… er App Library! Update. I have the latest and greatest iPhone (17 pro max at this time) and it keeps defaulting the graphics to medium. It handles epic setting perfectly.
