It’s GLITCHY. I had to hit things several times without the game responding, which meant hitting the “hint” button because I thought I was wrong. Now I’m at the Cathedral, and I can’t get the “thing” out of the basket. Stuck here. And yes, I did turn off my iPad and open it again. Nothing. **Developer response:** Hello! I checked the strategy guide and know what I’m supposed to do to do but it will not allow me to do it, So essentially the games over. I really like the game and it has some really unique puzzles. I’m on the second chapter, inside the ship. My map won’t open, the task book won’t open, the cat won’t get the item from the bird, doing everything the guide says and nothing is working. I downloaded the update but that didn’t help. They were a little to easy, but I liked the concept of not having the mixture of the games. The graphics were extremely good, and the little was so convincing that it mad you really want to keep playing to help her and everyone else out. I had no issues with this game or the bonus. It was a very fun entertaining story, even though we have had the magic brush before. I do pay for the membership and to be honest it is not worth it yet. But I know it will be beneficial soon as Domini keeps releasing great games. Hope all of you fellow gamers are being safe out there. I have mentioned it several times! For those of you wondering about EIPIX, Oleg supposedly wants to release them starting this month. DON’T hold your breath. There are 4 of them on the App Store and he hasn’t completed the deal yet. I’ll keep you posted! This game was magical and gorgeous, as well as lengthy.The overall gameplay was definitely entertaining. There were many enjoyable and interesting tasks to complete at each location. We were supplied with an adorable feline helper, Morty, to assist us on the adventure into the enchanted paintings. Domini has given us an amazing assortment of HO scenes. Most of the mini-games, however, were of the boring rotational genre. In addition, the storyline was one we have seen time and time again: an evil being who steals souls to gain eternal life/power/immortality. Also we have a slew of characters who have never learned the meaning of altruism and are always too weak/tired/exhausted to help you further, but after you help them you receive a tool to advance your gameplay. Come on Oleg, let’s see a new sub-genre! Instead of fantasy, give us crime and intrigue, a love story gone wrong, horror. We need something new and fresh! Other than that, you feel as if you are playing the same game over and over. The other issue that none of you even addressed was that this game had plenty of technical glitches. You either ignored them or are not sophisticated enough to notice them. There were generalized touchscreen sensitivity issues. Inventory was quite difficult to move from the inventory bar to the place where you needed to apply it. Complex items were slow to combine. Hard tapping was required at times to acquire an inventory item. In the bonus adventure, one location was even missing the map! Still, albeit the technical issues and general lack of innovative elements, this game was fun, and long, and we were given plenty of “bang for our bucks,” with this game being on sale. My true rating will remain at 4 stars. Until we get more unique storylines and less touch screen sensitivity, I cannot and will not rate these game higher.
