Great price for around 6 hours of entertainment. I have played dozens of these games, mostly from Big Fish and Elephant Games, so I have a lot of experience to compare this one. The app itself ran fluently with no glitches, no issues. Excellent. My lower rating for this one had to do with the mini games … they were were so boring, almost all ask you to rotate or move things in a circle. Lots of variations of moving things in circles. Or possible getting one object to another space, often by ….moving in circles! The hidden objects were very well done, with tasks you must do inside the hidden object game in order to find the target item. The story line was not my favorite and the scenes were consistently gothic, so if you like that sort of thing, you’ll enjoy this one, but I prefer more modern day or fun scenes, the ones with a variety are the best. Very little variety here. Overall…it’s a good game and runs well. I can recommend it for other users. ### 3/5 — Gefällt! *2019-07-31, version 1.0.3* Wie meine Vorschreiber, alles da. I think I skipped about nine mini games of the same type with the markers that you have to move a certain number of times. You couldn’t be more creative and come up with different games for each many game? And why not offer the matching option for every mini game? Why just some of them? I like that option. And if you’re going to say easy, it should really be easy. Then in the bonus game, The museum owner does the same thing and is in trouble again with an even more corny monster...that makes no sense. Mais trop de mini jeux. ### 3/5 — Mystery Tales: Dangerous Desires by LynxMinx *2018-07-05* I feel badly that I am not rating this game higher but I felt that it was somewhat dull. Actually I must have been very bored because I fell asleep not once but twice while playing! Of course Domini does provide many bells and whistles. The entire game is customizable, from your difficulty settings, to showing collectibles on the map, to easy vs. hard options on certain puzzles/games. For collectible lovers, there are diary pages, notes, morphing medieval weapons and coins you may use to decorate a boudoir. A marked teleport map was provided to transport you nearly instantaneously between locations. There was a plethora of tasks to accomplish at most locations. Inventory was labeled and there were complex items to assemble. Although there was no cohesive journal objectives were regularly updated. The HO scenes had the usual variation or you could play match-3 as an alternative. This game had a large amount of puzzles and games, which generally I enjoy but (Kim, I like your new word!) so many of them were of the boring rotational genre that it mildly irked me. I thought the graphics were not the best that we have seen from Domini. They were extremely blurry and muddy, and it seemed like the pervasive color was blue. Or maybe it’s my mood! The storyline was not novel or unique, and the gimmick in this game (paranormal glasses) was the same as in the rest of the series. It would have been nice to have had some new inventions to use. This game was on the long side inclusive of the bonus adventure. The game ran smoothly as Domini has excellent quality assurance. There was nothing “wrong” with this game. It just didn’t excite me and I felt a sense of tedium as I played it. I wish I had enjoyed it more and could rate it more highly, but to me it was a formulaic game, and my review will actually be 3.5 stars. I think I was a bit harsh in rating this game, and it would be unfair to take out my suffering from my accident on this developer, who gives us basic but good gameplay. Happy Independence Day to all gamers! UPDATE: BigFish actually gave us a game today. Unfortunately I am not a fan of this series, Mystery Case Files, and lately not a fan of EIPIX. I will wait on reviews from other trusted players. ### 3/5 — Enjoyable but too short *2018-07-05* I think that has been my view of almost every game I have played recently, that they are all too short. Often, the remaining game play following the demo is not substantial enough to warrant the purchase, but you never know that until you have made the purchase. I often long for the days when games provided hours of entertainment. First game I ever played, Zork. That was in the mid 80s. The hos weren’t just hit or miss but needed other actions, the mystery glasses were good, the map was brilliant because it showed if you had missed any collectibles as well and a good bonus.
