I do use it, but I don’t like it. you can’t disable the startup prompt to turn on notifications, the interface is a minefield of popups to “upgrade to premium”, and a subscription model is absurd for a static library of content. (to be clear, the static library of content is what I want. don’t add daily horoscopes or some bs just to try to justify the subscription model.) I manage to get most of the card meanings I want by drawing a Cosmic Creature card every day (then putting my phone down for 30 sec to let the ad finish) and slowly growing the list of cards I can access from the calendar history. it sucks ### 2/5 — Too buggy and glitchy *2026-05-15, version 35.0* This app didn’t work, so I deleted and downloaded it again. When I did that, I went to log in, but Facebook does not work with the app anymore. Then, I decided to create an account since I couldn’t log in with Facebook, but I couldn’t create a log in also because it kept saying my last name was invalid when I put my full name exactly as it is and exactly as it is on my birth certificate. It wouldn’t let me create an account because it said my last name was invalid. I was like forget it. I am not going to deal with all these app issues, so I deleted the app completely. By the way, my phone is fine. I got a brand new phone last month, so it is just this app that seems bad. ### 3/5 — Fun and fantastic!!!! *2026-05-06, version 35.0* I love this app so much!! The aesthetic and layout are bright and vibrant. Brilliant artwork!! The readings are accurate and informative. I love how you can draw all of your daily cards for free 🆓 with just a 2 second ad. There are lots of other cool features in premium too! Highly recommend!!!! 🙏🫶🏼✨💫🌌🌺 ### 2/5 — too woke *2026-02-15, version 35.0* It was initially fun for the short term daily card pulls but unfortunately the card meanings are so fixed and just do not resonate with me. There is more nuance to the tarot than what this deck suggests. It seems to be aimed at a very young audience. If you are a young tarot beginner you may like it, if you can stand words like “YOLO” (this was the card meaning of the fool) and you want to “stay woke” (this was the card meaning of the heirophant). Not for me! ### 2/5 — Half the time it doesn’t work *2025-07-10, version 31.6* I pay $10.99 a month and half the time when I try to tap something it prompts me to subscribe. That’s really annoying, but overall it’s essentially a glossary, so it’s really not worth the money. ### 2/5 — Bad timing and description *2025-02-06, version 31.4* I’ve been a tarot reader since 1998. My biggest problem with this app is the interpretation of the cards drawn. They’re often so negative and direct that they sound almost like a jealous frenemy and are boiled down far too simplistically for my tastes. It is also quite annoying that they go by the time zone of wherever they are so most people who don’t live in the western world would find it useless. I don’t need a drawing that doesn’t change to my day until 3pm or later. ### 3/5 — Was super fun until it stopped working *2024-12-29, version 31.2* I loved this app, and how it logged my daily tarot journal. But I updated it and now the app won’t load in. I go to open it and the screen is just grey. It’s a bummer. I really enjoyed it. ### 1/5 — Paying for Tarot Card Meanings ? *2024-09-19, version 30.4* Not paying for a meaning of a tarot card ### 1/5 — Stop asking for location data *2024-07-23, version 30.1* I’ve accepted having to watch ads to draw a card, but the thing that’s made me stop using this app is that it now requires me to share my location every time I do. This was not a requirement previously, and is honestly pretty creepy and frustrating. I just want to pull a tarot card, you don’t need to know where I am. There’s no option to turn off this requirement in the app, so unfortunately I just won’t be using it again until there it one. ### 1/5 — My Mondays got less mystical *2024-07-07, version 28.0* I tried toughing it out with the ads, but I think it’s bit ridiculous when I’m just trying to pull one card. I have noticed the “skip video” button on the ads doesn’t always want to work for some reason so I have to let the that darn thing play out anyway. I used to love the app but I’m all done with it now :( . ### 2/5 — Watch 4 Ads or Pay $10.99 a Month *2024-06-30, version 28.0* I downloaded Mystic Mondays about two years ago around the time I first started college to check it out with a friend who also shared the same interest in tarot, but unfortunately we didn’t have the time to put more effort into learning the cards at the time. I want to start out by saying that I have loved this app and it’s interface, you can tell a lot of work has been put into it by the developers and I have even considered buying their physical deck at one point, however, with this new update I can’t say that I’m as satisfied as I once was. I have loved the addition of the daily crystal, zodiac, and animal cards and didn’t mind when a few of the more of the in depth features went behind a paywall, but with this latest update, you now have to watch an ad before drawing each of your daily cards, pay $1 for a single day of “fast pass”, or pay 10.99 a month to unlock everything. That means now you would have to watch 4 second ads for your 4 daily cards. I am all for supporting developers, but it’s extremely redundant and unwelcoming, almost unmotivating as well, to have an ad before every single card. I would like to see you guys change this in the future to maybe an ad to unlock them all for the day, I think this would open up more willing support from the community without creating an unfriendly user experience. ### 1/5 — Recommend switching to LuminousSpirit *2024-06-14, version 26.0* First came the paywall where you could no longer access most of the app, taking away many of our favourite features, and then came the 30 second ads just to draw a card of the day. Y’all, I’m out. Not only am I deleting the app (and will be sticking with LuminousSpirit and Labyrinthos, which have stayed completely free and without ads since before the Mystic Mondays app even existed), I also plan on gifting my MM tarot deck to [a friend who was thinking of ordering one for herself] so that her hard-earned money does not fall into this company’s hands. ### 1/5 — Scam. “one month free” subscription is a lie *2024-06-09, version 26.0* Used to be a completely free app but it’s not anymore. You have to pay for everything on it or watch a ad for each card to “unlock” it even though that was never a thing until the update. went to subscribe to the yearly subscription where it says you get one month free and was instantly charged 120$… which i am not happy about. But like every other company they got greedy and locked all of the features we used to get for free behind paywalls. Charging money for tarot card meanings is insane. The meanings of each of the cards are on a million websites for FREE. Plus, the app itself is buggy, and every time I try to open it I’m given a blank grey screen. I used to truly love this app but I’m finally uninstalling. If I could delete my account I would, but I can’t get past that grey homepage screen so deleting the app is all I can do. ### 1/5 — Broken and Greedy *2026-05-27, version 35.0* I used this app for years. Loved it, and the accompanying deck is beautiful. I just came to use the app and nothing worked. So I uninstalled/redownloaded only to find a bunch of popups and premium offers. Can’t use it like I used to, unfortunately. Sad because it used to be one of the best tarot apps out there. ### 1/5 — A big change for the worse *2026-01-19, version 34.0* I loved this app as recently as 2023/24, however since then it has been restructured so that instead of being able to see the whole reading for any one specific thing, we now see one to two sentences, then have to swipe to read the next one to two sentences, and so on- the worst part being that nothing in its entirety is free- in order to get a complete reading for any one sign, plant or anything- you have to pay for the premium package- such a disappointment and such a cheap way of doing it!! I used to use this app everyday for astrology and tarot, and was excited to learn about numerology using it and I am so sad to say that I am now deleting it. ### 1/5 — Used to be great, now harvests data *2025-10-14, version 32.0* I love the art of this deck and I used to use this app daily but it’s a data harvesting app now. In the last three days I’ve now been prompted to either watch an ad or pay for a subscription. Super disappointed to see this from what was one of my favorite apps. For people angry about the ads—it seems people expect a ton of beautiful aesthetics, information, & effort from an app & don’t consider there are real people running it. If you want content, someone has to develop it. If you want FREE content, SOMEONE HAS TO DEVELOP IT. Why do people expect those who offer spiritual services to offer their work for free? Real human beings have real lives & real bills to pay—would you offer your services at your job for no pay? If you can’t afford a monthly subscription, that’s fine (I can’t afford the premium services from the app right now either). The **very short skippable after a few seconds** ads are a way to keep the app available & people who develop the app & content sustained. I highly doubt anyone on the MM team is diving into a pool of gold coins because of a $9.99 monthly fee. You want something?
