I sent a message through the app, no answer. Now it loads to music & a pitch black screen. I also can’t level up the other buildings. I contacted the developer, but as far as I’m concerned all I got was a run around. It’s too bad too because I really liked the game. I already spent my coins on them. Please also take it back down to buy a new a slot. It shot up to 9000 coins! I like this game but it takes forever for items to recharge and I already bought one thing I’m not buying a lot of things to keep playing. Taking along time to progress in this game.. Picked it back up again because I remember quite liking the spooky Halloween vibe but oh my god this thing is just not playable unless you’re on airplane mode. 3 ads in a row for 1) Doing the daily reward, 2) fulfilling a story quest, and 3) opening up the merge board. The last one was especially annoying, an ad just for opening up the board?? Come on. I love the vibe and the art/animation is honestly very cute but man… I’m not sitting though a full 2 minutes of ads just for opening the game board. Not worth it **Developer response:** Hello! Subscription to get rid of ads is ridiculous. I have no problem watching ads but on my terms. DO NOT FORCE ADS!!! ### 1/5 — Totally broken on iPad *2022-05-08, version 0.31.0* Shortly after the last app update three months ago (writing this in May 2022), the game simply stopped opening on iPad. No error message, no loading screen, just a black screen for a few seconds and then crash back to the home screen. Went back-and-forth with email support for days, where they didn’t seem to know their behind from their elbow, kept repeatedly asking me for a screenshot of the error despite me explaining that there was no error, just a black screen, sending them multiple screenshots of said black screen, and them not being satisfied, saying, “If you would just please send us a screenshot like we have asked…“ 🤯🔥😡🔥🤬 Finally, after about a week of this, I get an email back from them saying the game is not currently supported on iPad but we are working to fix the problem as quickly as possible. Three months later, still no update and the game still doesn’t load. I had invested months of time into this game and while I could play it on my iPhone while waiting for a fix, with no form of online account linking to back up my progress, I would be starting over, and I am just not willing to do that. I was really enjoying the storyline and looking forward to seeing what would happen next, and I am extremely disappointed that it looks like that will not happen. **Developer response:** Hello! I’ve been waiting for 2 months for an update! Is it ever going to happen? I really enjoyed this game while it lasted ### 1/5 — Lack of story and dull gameplay changes *2022-03-10, version 0.31.0* Update: The storyline stopped and there hasn’t been an update in months. The game began to alternate between a prize tree and tournaments that require “crafted” objects. It’s becoming quite dull. One can no longer purchase additional slots for storage, but rather must earn them by filling orders with crafted objects. Daily rewards are now quite stingy. Moons are hard to earn, leveling up points take forever (and the rewarded energy is minuscule) and coins have become virtually useless in the game. It has also ceased to load smoothly. :-( It had so much potential. Was 5 stars: This merge game has smooth gameplay, frequent rewards, a strong female protagonist, and adorable graphics. Mergenton team ### 5/5 — It’s such a lovely game but the bugs *2021-07-11, version 0.3.2* It’s so glitched it’s hard to play which is such a pity because I find it’s one of the best merge games out there with the story the graphics and the way the merging was presented. I actually learned more about how to merge than almost any other game. But it’s so hard to play because it crashes and freezes and the button to access the merging section vanishes and it’s so hard to access. I had a bug where ome of my devices stopped working so I reached the company. They responded quickly and an update came out to fix this. For a new game they are doing amazing! I am so hooked. That said, the developer has other games that seem to have the same story, so pick the one with the mechanic you like. The mix of tasks can be poor at best, where a task to get 4 lanterns is immediately followed by a task to get 3 lanterns, which slows down play. The game locks up, most frequently during ads, which is unfortunate. Plodding through the tedious 30 seconds of an Adt hat I’ve seen dozens of time and being unable to get rewarded is annoying. And speaking of annoying, I’m never going to click on the “strip the maidens” ads from Kingsthrone. Maybe step up to a less deliberately sexist and offensive ad network?
