So much for keeping track of how many widgets of the same type I have! 😞 ### 2/5 — Bar code scanner is messed up! *2026-02-18, version 10.1.1* It seems that every other update issued for this app results in the barcode scanner using my Ipad's camera becoming royally screwed up. It results in a disoriented camera that displays the image at a rotated 90 degrees from what it should be. It makes trying to center the barcode on the bluray/dvd case nearly impossible. In most cases, I just enter the barcode number manually. Other than that, this app is good for cataloging my entire movie and book collection for insurance purposes. ### 2/5 — Data disappeared after last update *2025-12-30, version 10.0.3* This was a decent app to inventory my large collection… although it was a bit clunky. I have a lot of sub-subcategories and I wondered if it was going to be able to handle it all. Now with the latest update, it appears that a ton of my hard work has disappeared… photos and all. I really have no desire to put all that back in again, especially not knowing if it’s going to save it correctly. ### 4/5 — It was good… *2025-12-23, version 10.0.3* I use to love this app. Even after the iCloud integration almost deleted my entire database before (glad I back up regularly) I have loved using this app. Until recently that it where the UI updated. The new update that pushed the Liquid Glass design has broken the app. I cannot make edits or copy entries to make new entries with similar data. This used to be the best database app on the store for my needs to catalog various collections but now it’s difficult to use. ### 4/5 — Subcontainers *2025-11-20, version 10.0.1* Please add a display of the subcontainers when clicking on the container. Now, only the items in the container are displayed, or nothing, and the sub-containers are visible only in the unfolding list. ### 4/5 — Excellent app, but no global undo. *2025-08-29, version 9.5* I recently auditioned over 20 database apps before landing on this one -- at least for now. It has the functionality I need and the freedom to manipulate information that I'm looking for in home and small business management. The UI is smooth and intuitive, once you've spent some time with it. There's hardly anything in the way of videos or a manual. That said, a granular, global undo is essential to the learning curve. I wish the form page for an item (the "card") was more customizable in terms of how you lay out your fields (they are just single lines each). Despite my criticisms, I have purchased the full version and am going to be using this app for a while. I hope the developer continues to stay current with improvements (looks like they have so far). ### 5/5 — Best Database Program Out there! *2025-07-17, version 9.4* I have used this programs to create various databases including home inventory and other collections. The developer has been amazing supporting the product over the years. Recently, I asked him a question regarding the summary average and lo and behold, he has updated the app with the latest upgrade to allow for Calculated Summary. Un petit regret au niveau de l’export, impossible d’exporter en PDF, ça bug et ça crash, sinon ça serait top !!! ### 5/5 — Great app for inventory and sales *2025-05-28, version 9.2.3* I recently discovered MyStuff2 Pro and it’s an excellent app for organizing inventory, tracking purchases and sales, and keeping full control of my items. It’s very flexible and powerful. As a suggestion, it would be amazing to allow formulas inside Actions, just like the existing calculation fields. This would help automate things like profit calculation. Edit 10/2024 : Finalement je l’utilise en permanence. Édit 06/2022 : Je reviens sur mon commentaire précédent et je rajoute des étoiles. En fait, si vous avez besoin d’une application qui vous permets de gérer vos « possessions », elle est géniale car vous pouvez la modeler à votre convenance et de façon très pointue. Créer une base de données sur les cadeaux que vous offrez (pour pas vous tromper l’année suivante…) les appareils que vous possédez, les timbres ... etc, bref, les objets qui ne demandent pas d’aller chercher des informations sur le net, elle est parfaite. De plus sur les nouveaux Mac M1, vous pouvez l'utiliser aussi, et ça c'est un gros plus. (Même si il y a quelques petits bugs.) Mais pour gérer vos CD, livres, DVD, elle n’est pas pratique dans le fait qu’elle ne trouve pas les informations concernant l’objet (Parfois l'image, et c'est tout). Lire mon commentaire ci dessous. Avant, il y a bien longtemps, cette application était intéressante. Vous scanniez les codes barres et elle trouvait les correspondances et remplissait les fiches. Hélas maintenant, et rien n’a changé depuis des années, vous devez TOUT entrer manuellement, TOUT ! It’s so convenient and versatile, and can be easily configured to your needs. You can also add pictures to your items. I had no issues with it until the latest update which forces me to save to the cloud, which I don’t want or need to do. The app gives me no choice however, and has locked the editing function until I do. I am so frustrated over this unnecessary complication and have stopped using the now useless app. Such a waste. ### 1/5 — Glitchy Crashy Mess *2026-02-17, version 10.1.1* I’ve been using the app for years and for the last year the quality has gone down hill. It constantly refreshes to the top of the list when searching through your library, exits out of the search function mid typing, and now it has started freezing and crashing. If there is an alternative out there, use it. Library without access is no use to anyone. ### 1/5 — Just a money grab *2025-12-07, version 10.0.3* I’ve used this app for years to track my personal library. When I first got it, I paid to upgrade to a pro version. Later upgrades tried to make me pay again, but I was able to sort that out with support. Now it’s asking me to pay 20 more dollars to upgrade to unlimited items, which I’m already supposed to have. Don’t waste your money or time. ### 1/5 — Terrible UI — unusable *2025-12-06, version 10.0.3* Whoever designed this app has to have zero training in UI design or usability. You open the app and there are no clear instructions, help button, or commonly recognizable icons. I’ve worked in UI design and we’re well past people building apps with such a terrible interface. Read a design book. Ask AI to improve your interface. I’m moving on to another app. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-07-04, version 9.3.1* Spent ten minutes trying to add a single item and the + button never appeared. None of the official FAQs helped either. ### 1/5 — Product images gone missing!!! *2024-09-24, version 8.7.5* We been using MyStuff pro for a long time. Recently we have encountered that every time we do any updates to the category template, say adding or changing attributes to a category. Some product images get deleted after saving the new attributes. In addition we notice some products got completely deleted as well. Moreover the location of some products got changed to “no location”. We have more than thousand products and it is a time consuming having to go back and update the images all over again, that say is our least problem. When a location gets change or a product gets deleted then it is a real trouble to figure it out where was that product located or it is missing from our inventory list. We have emailed the developer, but got no response. We hope they see this review and get in touch for more details to get this bug fixed. We love using the app, it has help us a lot and we want to continue using. We do not know if it is us only that we are having this trouble, please get it fix. Thank you, we truly appreciate this application very much. ### 1/5 — iCloud Sync doesn't work *2024-09-20, version 8.7.5* I share a large databse with my wife and have her idenfied as being able to make changes to the database. Anything she does does not sync to the cloud and any changes I make don't make it to her devices no matter how long we wait. I reached out for support a few days ago and am still waiting for a reply. Time to look for another solution. The vendors need to understand that it is no joke to spend time and effort on building a database that fails to live up to its hype. ### 1/5 — Crashed adding first record *2024-05-02, version 8.7* After spending more than an hour to set up a sample database, it crashed adding the first record. The work that has gone into this app is phenomenal. A bit of a learning curve, and I still haven’t discovered things it can do, but it’s very flexible. I wish there were lots of videos online to show me some extra features I could use. ### 5/5 — Personal touch *2026-01-21, version 10.1.1* This app does what it claims and makes any collector’s life more manageable. But the person behind it puts it over the top. I used an earlier version of this app from 2015-18, and recently started using it again. On happenstance, I crashed the app and it generated an email to Rick, the developer, and he emailed me several times to walk me through upgrading to the newer version of the app, even when I hit frustrating road blocks I couldn’t figure out on my own from help topics. It’s a personal touch I wouldn’t necessarily expect from a developer, but also the sort of thing that gives you confidence that using this to manage your belongings is time and money well spent. ### 5/5 — The best *2026-01-07, version 10.1* The best app to organize my things. Today I tried it on my MacBook for the first time, and to my surprise it was very easy! It even has a paste-from-clipboard function which is great for quick screenshots of my order. I will be adding more “stuff” not craft-supply related since it’s been working so well. Support has been great.
