After the update , the app refused to open. Once you click it , it just shows a black screen till eternity

There is no point redesigning the app and rolling it out when it is not ready to function. When I click on the new app, all I see is a black screen and nothing else happens. The app does not deserve the one star as it doesn’t do anything. Resolve this or delete it.
