## What is MyTeachingStrategies®?

Capture the moment, set preliminary levels, and share children’s “Aha!” moments with their families directly from the MyTeachingStrategies® app!

With MyTeachingStrategies®, you can:

- Capture photos, videos, and text notes.

- Tag your capture with objectives, dimensions, and preliminary ratings.

- Share captured documentation with families while simultaneously uploading it to SmartTeach!

- Track attendance for children and staff.

- Create daily reports for record keeping and parent communication.

Security/Confidentiality

To maintain security and confidentiality, all documentation captured in the app remains within the app until sent to SmartTeach / Tadpoles®. Any photos or videos taken within the app will not mix with your personal camera roll. Files captured using the app cannot be sent anywhere other than to SmartTeach / Tadpoles®.

Who Can Use This App

This app is designed for use with the SmartTeach platform. This app is available for Teaching Strategies customers that have both a SmartTeach and a Tadpoles® account. Teaching Strategies customers using SmartTeach without Tadpoles® should use the new Teaching Strategies Teacher mobile app. Customers with only a Tadpoles® account should use the Childcare by Tadpoles® app.

I've been trying to access my account, but it says it's not set up for Gold users. What does that mean?

**Developer response:** Hello Agnes, we are sorry to hear about your confusion. The MyTeachingStrategies app works for customers who have both Tadpoles and Gold licenses through Teaching Strategies. If you are a Tadpoles customer who does not have a Gold license, then you need to use the Childcare by Tadpoles app. If you are a Gold customer who does not have a Tadpoles license, then you would need to use the SmartTeach app. I hope that helps. 97% of the time it says your account is not fully set up yet really?

If you are a Tadpoles customer who does not have a Gold license, then you need to use the Childcare by Tadpoles app. If you are a Gold customer who does not have a Tadpoles license, then you would need to use the SmartTeach app. I hope that helps. When are you going to let gold members have access to more then documentation. We should be able to do checkpoints and have access to the cloud.

Why does the app turn music off? There is no part of the app that plays music so it shouldn’t shut off sound. Please fix!

The worst company and app ever, no wonder our school is moving to another platform. They show low res images and there is no option to download everything!!!!!! You have to go in one by one to download images and forget about what teachers wrote about your child. Tell the school to avoid this company at all cost!
