I love being able to log my tea tasting notes, how it changed by infusion and see what other tea-lovers are drinking! There are two (small) features missing though. 1. App doesn’t work with iPhone mirroring on macOS Sequoia and iOS 18 2. The app design looks like it was copied from android and not well designed for Apple devices ### 4/5 — The Tea App I’ve Been Waiting For *2024-06-20* I have been a tea nerd for several years now and have crafted a few tasting journals to keep notes in. Only recently has this app been shared with me. I have one single complaint, and it’s honestly a pretty annoying one. I love being able to keep notes and track what teas are in my stash, as well as checking out what others are drinking in the community. Having an issue recently where opening entries for teas and logs will cause the app to crash. I can’t access certain entires anymore. It’s been a long time since an app has been so unusable for me. Every time I tried to sign in it would freeze and I would have to reopen several times. Eventually I succeeded in making an account. But then searching for a tea was impossible as there were no results for even the simplest searches. Realized eventually that it defaults to filtering results to teas you have reviewed before…even if it’s a brand new account. So I remove the filter. My tea doesn’t show up, so I’m encouraged to add it to the database. I try to do so…only to encounter the same freezing as when I tried making an account. Because I can’t use it as intended, it gets a 1 star. I really hope the developer will update this app but seems like it’s been a year. ### 2/5 — Great idea but I prefer simple *2025-10-22, version 2.9.1* The idea for the app is great and offers a lot of great features however, I just want to see on my home tab a list of the teas that I’ve entered so I can quickly select one and set the brew timer. This current layout is too complicated to quickly get to the brew section. Going into it I was honestly expecting a bit more of a straight to the point, instant gratification kind of app so I was confused and skeptical at first and it took me a good minute to really learn and get used to everything, but I made sure to give it a shot cause I could tell it had more than meets the eye, how there was so much thought and depth put into the making of this app. I was only just wanting a straight forward steep timer at first but I’ve found that the more I’ve learned about the app, the more I’ve come to realize I perfectly click with its interface and all the features I didn’t even know I needed. From listing all the tea specifications, logging your thoughts every time you drink, and even logging what you use to drink too (very helpful), it gets freedom of customization down to the T. The app really is just a love letter for tea lovers, it was made with so much care and consideration that it goes above and beyond what you could hope from a tea app, and above all it works really well.
