Facing obstacles alone can be daunting. Support and guidance from a professional therapist has been shown to make big changes. We created MyTherapist so anyone can have convenient, discreet, and affordable access to professional help.

*** WHO ARE THE COUNSELORS? ***
There are over 500 therapists in MyTherapist. These are licensed, trained, experienced, and accredited psychologists (PhD/PsyD), marriage and family therapists (MFT), clinical social workers (LCSW), licensed professional counselors (LPC), or similar credentials. All of them have a Masters Degree or a Doctorate Degree in their field. They have been qualified and certified by their state professional board after successfully completing the necessary education, exams, training and practice. They all possess at least 3 years and 2,000 hours of hands-on experience.

*** HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? *** 
Many people avoid getting professional help because it can become extremely expensive. We want to make MyTherapist easy and accessible to everyone, so we've created a plan which is simple, predictable, risk-free, and affordable.

Plans range from as low as $45 per session. With any plan you choose, you will pay a fraction of the cost of traditional counseling.

Last, if you accomplished your goals or if you found it to be no longer helpful for any reason, you can simply cancel the subscription. Canceling is easy and done online - there are no hoops to jump through.

I have used several counseling sites and this by far is the one that has helped me the most. It’s a little more expensive than other programs, but the feedback I get from my therapist is truly amazing.

I was seeking out help because I currently cannot seek an expensive face to face therapist. I’m currently in desperate need as I am an adolescent and I’m in desperate need of figuring out decisions to make in my life that will impact me forever. I was extremely disappointed to receive an email saying they could not help me because they said I needed more. I understand that face to face therapy would be more beneficial than over the phone, but if an app claims to offer therapy to those in need, they should offer it.

You get frequent access through written messages and thoughtful responses with helpful strategies for me on assertiveness, goal and priority setting. Plus video and phone visits.  The sessions are mainly weekday and business hours so that could be a limitation for some. But you get good help with more access at a fraction of the cost of a regular therapist.
