I only gave it three stars because the hint didn’t work the puzzles were only mediocre and there was no map with locations marked where are you need to do some thing. So I was forced to use the guide first time ever. However, as others have experienced, the hint button doesn't work, so I won't purchase the full version. This is the second game I've had to abandon for the same reason. Quite frustrating, but hopefully will be able to get to play another time. I'd recommend trying the first chapter before you buy the game because even if the game doesn't work as it should, Big Fish don't refund you. We have to hope that the developers we have enjoyed over the years will try and independently release their games, or find a new distributor such as Artifex Mundi. EVERYONE needs to start emailing the developers, such as Domini, Mad Head, Elephant Games, Elefun, Mariaglorum, Grandma Studios, Sunward, 4FRIENDS, and EIPIX. I cannot do this alone; we need an overwhelming response. If you want to reach out to me do so at lynxminx @icloud.com. I don’t want to think that nobody even cares that there will be no further games! For all those who complained about this game, the developer must have fixed the issue with the hint button, because I was able to play it without any problems. The graphics were gorgeous (think of a cross between Amaranthine Voyage and the old Empress of the Deep games.) The storyline was easy to follow and there was a cohesive journal with notes and objectives. A teleport map was provided and it enabled instantaneous transport to open locations. Unfortunately there were no task indicators so you had to run around quite a bit. Collectibles were morphing objects and there were only 20 of them. The gimmick was an artifact where you had to acquire elemental crystals and each one gave you a special power to utilize and progress through the game. The HO scenes had some variation, from word lists, to frags, to finding a number of the same object, to silhouettes. There were plenty of puzzles/games to keep you entertained, from rotational to codes, painting, games of skill and dexterity. You are able to travel through portals and visit different worlds. This game was a decent length inclusive of the bonus adventure. Gameplay was smooth and glitch-free. I deducted a star only because you couldn’t customize settings and the teleport map wasn’t marked. However this game was definitely worth purchasing, especially at the sale price. Lynxie sends 💋😘❤️🤙🏻 to all the gamers who faithfully followed my reviews over the last 6 years.
