## What is Mythium?

Mythium is an app for collaborative fiction writing. You create a fictional character and write stories with other writers, scene by scene, in a shared chat.

  Start by building your character: a name, a backstory, a personality, and a way of speaking. Add an illustrated portrait and tag the genres you like to write. Your character becomes a page other writers can find.

  Look through characters created by other writers. When you find someone whose genres line up with yours, you both open a one-on-one chat and write a story together, each person writing as their own character. Chats are private and
   only between two writers who have both chosen to write together. There is no random or anonymous matching.

  A writing assistant is built in for when you are stuck on a line of dialogue or a description.
