If you have to put the phone down for 2 minutes and do something; by the time you pick it back up, you’re logged out. Very frustrating when you’re trying to job search. You have to re-log in and go through t the whole process of the job search. Is there anyway to fix this? I’ve looked on my end and haven’t found a way to change the time setting for being logged in. **Developer response:** Hello, thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. The app doesn’t recognize my existing login. I tried to create a new account, but that doesn’t complete work either and is poorly designed (for example, when entering email, the keyboard just recognizes it as a plain text field and you have to go to multiple keyboard screens to get to numbers and the @ sign. Most places flag the field as an actual email field so the phone keyboard knows to put things like the @ sign on the keyboard for easy access.) However, Once the new account is created, it wants to send a verification code before you can log in. Problem is the verification codes are never sent. Tried text and email methods multiple times. I give up. Maybe they’ll fix it in the future, but knowing that it’s a government thing, it’ll be 10 years too late and be way over budget leading to retiring it before it’s ever useful. ### 1/5 — Can’t get Account *2023-06-05* Decided to try the app. I wanted to use the full app, so I tried to setup account. Every time I attempted, after typing the password, not coping and pasting, I would submit it would tell me “password does not meet criteria.” I ensured as I typed the password the requirements dots turn green, they all did. I even changed the password I was attempting to use, to a new password. If I knew what was wrong with my password, I would fix it. All of the requirements were met. So much for using the app. **Developer response:** Hello, We tracked and resolved the issue on the password creation on MyTN Signup. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please try this again. The password requires at least (1 capital letter, 1 small letter, 1 number, 1 special character) and it must be between 8 to 24 characters long. ### 1/5 — Will not load. *2020-04-04, version 1.0.2* It won’t load past the log in page. ### 1/5 — Not loading *2020-02-21, version 1.0.2* It says unable to load ### 2/5 — Not Ready for Primetime *2025-02-18, version 2.32.0* Was clunky to enter information and burn permit would not complete. No issues completing on website. ### 2/5 — Bummer *2024-07-19* I was super excited to be able to change my address via the app instead of having to drive across town to go to the DMV for something so simple. But unfortunately, the app was not working? Every time I tried to click on “Visit Services” for access to that part of the app, it would just sit there and load and a load and load. Never going anywhere. Then I tried to click on the Help button to see if there was a troubleshoot. But that wouldn’t load either. Deleted account and app within 5 minutes of creating it. Bummer! **Developer response:** There was a worldwide IT outage on 7/19/2024 which was out of the State’s control and the issue you experienced may have been related. We recommend trying again now that the worldwide issue was resolved. If you continue to have this issue, please send us additional details to mobi.support@tn.gov to help identify the issue you experienced. ### 2/5 — Make it Regional *2024-06-26, version 2.27.0* The app has tons of information, but needs to allow focus on a local area/ZIP Code. It would be great if I could see each category by the local stuff around me rather than providing a giant laundry list for the whole state. ### 2/5 — ID verification *2024-03-30, version 2.25.1* I can’t get the app to “verify my ID” so I can access my server permit and save it to my wallet. That is the only reason I downloaded the app to start with. ### 2/5 — Okay but needs work *2023-04-23* This is an okay app for doing business with the State of TN. However, it’s missing some basic functionality. It really needs a setting for notifications so the user can turn them off. When mobile phones automatically get Amber Alerts, I don’t want or need one through the app. Deleting app for now, not enough benefit to keep it and waste space in my phone. **Developer response:** Hello Tracey, thank you for this feedback. We want to make sure you know that when you first download the app, it asks your permission to receive notification from the app. If you do not wish to receive notifications, simply answer No to that question. ### 2/5 — Good idea but zero content *2020-02-24, version 1.0.2* I was hopeful this app would help in the new identity needs and other worthwhile needs. Nope! DL renewal without photo is about it. Other sources line offender info or anything else crime related is missing.
