I also tried from another phone and when I try to resync the app closes and doesn’t sync. This thing is more trouble that what it’s worth. Yet again the app locks up or crashes when you try to detect a PUC😕. Toro please fix the app... Update 4/18/26 I've been checking in at the Apple app store waiting for an update. I was happy to see that one was released! Happiness was short lived... Tried to connect to the PUC but same thing. The app locked up 😕. It says it's scanning but never finds a puc and never returns to operation. While it's supposedly scanning it really looks locked up. There's a stop scanning button but that is unresponsive. I guess I'll keep watching for another update. 3/16/26 I’ve struggled with this app for a few years now. For the most part, it’s worked OK. This season, the first time I mowed it would not connect to the PUC and it seems like it’s typically the battery. I replaced the battery. The last time I replaced the battery I had a hard time getting the PUC recognized. This time was no different and I ended up removing it. Now when I search for the PUC, to reinstall it, the app locks up. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no joy. Not sure what to do next. I guess I’ll have to buy a new PUC or just forget about it. I really like the idea, but it’s always something with this app and the PUC. Being their hand in hand you have to download this app to use it and the features. Starts every time and it’s very easy to use. I had one from 1998 and the motor recently blew up. Nothing had a 24 lifetime 24 years. That thing worked amazing. Never had a problemI was toro reading this. This app is 100% good. It keeps track of the hours and everything. I’m a landscaper and I don’t have time to check any of the stuff on the lawnmower and the app just tells me what needs to be done. It always takes me two attempts. Accept that as part of the process and you’ll be happy. Whether I sync every time I use it doesn’t matter. It does fine keeping track of hours and uses. I do appreciate the maintenance reminders. That’s s what sets this apart from just having an hour meter. I LOVE my Timemaster and want to keep it running for 20+ years. Not only does it save me time, it is the best mulcher ever.
