Unfortunately it is let down by the quality of the information. Have had train times departing before indicated time on the app and services listed as not running when they actually are. Worst bus service, terrible app, useless ticketing with Pakistani rally drivers behind the wheel who occasionally get the routes right. I may get 3,4 notifications about my bus and train lines being delayed but also get a notification about the Journey Planner being down. If I click on the JP-being-down notification, the app clears all other notifications which means I’ve lost the ability to see notifications about my bus and trains and why they’re delayed! This is a really bad flaw; made worse by the fact that there’s no real way to filter all service notifications by route; you have to go to each individual route timetable page and then load the service notifications from there. And the view will include all future service notifications so you have to manually search for today to view the ones relevant to you! I will be on the train, mid way through my journey and I will open my phone to double check which station I should be getting off at, and my trip has disappeared with no way to get it back. Do you have any idea how dangerous this is? I am a young woman travelling with my baby, and have missed stations/ ended up in completely the wrong area because of this. Screenshotting the trip isn’t a fix either, as I use the app to receive real time updates with where the bus/ train is and any updates as to whether something has been delayed. I can not describe how unbelievably dangerous and frankly negligent this is. I have downloaded this app for when I miss the bus or need to get to have a different start/end location. I have recently downloaded the new app, which I have to say… is horrible. With some updates to this app, it could be made better. Adding some new features and making old ones better is a whole lot easier than creating an entirely new app. Everyone is used to this app, though slightly annoying at times. Moving to a different app is stupid and a waste of time, money and resources. Please keep this app!!
