### 3/5 — Great app with super annoying request for rating

*2026-07-03, version 2.0.2*

Beautifully simple app that helps you be aware of the foods you’re eating without obsessively counting. BUT the pop-up requesting a rating every time you log a food is absolute overkill. I’m trying to learn to ignore it, because I otherwise love the app. But the developers really should fix this.

### 3/5 — A good app that I've enjoyed no longer like as much as I used to.

*2026-06-17*

Useful app that I've enjoyed using for almost half a decade now to track my meals (without calorie counting or any regressive stuff). It's nice to look back on my notes too. But in the last year some glitches have gotten on my nerves. Ever since a few updates ago, everytime you log something, it gives you a rating pop up. And I mean every. Single. Time. It is beyond annoying and makes me want to leave a bad review out of spite.

I've learned to ignore it but I do miss when it wasn't there. That and now my photos don't seem to be uploading correctly, it won't let me crop them whatsoever, so now it has those annoying black borders even when I try to crop the photo to a square ratio.

Such a minor thing shouldn't be so annoying, I'm sure. But I use this as a journal, so aesthetically it displeases me quite a bit. I know this app is probably run by one person but I know they have to have at least seen some of the reviews complaining about the rating prompt, that's been a problem for awhile. If people are going to pay to use an app the least you can do is try to take care of the annoying glitches.

### 4/5 — SUPER HELPFUL, but….

*2026-03-11*

I wish there was an option to categorize your tags. I have tags for CalCounting and I would love to look back on certain tags for meal ideas, but I have to manually click on each photo to see which tag I placed and after some time a lot of pictures get lost near the bottom of the list.

If there was some sort of folder feature that would be amazing! Apart from that, the app has everything else I could possibly need and I really appreciate it.

**Developer response:** Hello! Thank you for your review and for the suggestion. We appreciate your suggestion very much and have shared it with our Developers so that they can have a look and proceed accordingly. Keep an eye on the updates! We appreciate your feedback and hope you keep enjoying the App for your purposes!

### 3/5 — I'm doing this to try to stop the constant requests to rate app

*2025-12-01, version 2.0.2*

I'm only on Day 2 and it seems fine. I wanted less structured (e.g. not counting calories obsessively) and think this will fit the bill but it is sooo unstructured I feel a bit lost. Need more time to adopt. But i will give up if i continue to get asked to rate after every single food entry.

### 3/5 — How get full info about premium option

*2025-11-26, version 2.0.2*

The only option available is 8.99

### 3/5 — Buggy but I like it

*2025-08-02, version 2.0.2*

It’s good for what I use it for; a food diary not focused on calories. I recommend buying premium for a few bucks lifetime purchase so you don’t have to deal with ads. It’s a little buggy, always asking me to rate the app after every entry. It’s a very basic app, but that’s good for me and my past experiences dealing with food.

I think they should add a feature where you can rearrange the order of your entries on the Home Screen.

### 4/5 — Thank you

*2025-07-16*

Literally want to cry lol. This app and the simplicity of it is helping me beat my binging addiction. I never thought I’d be able to. Being able to see the foods laid out that I ate for the day (even if it was a lot) without judgement and all the red flagging other apps give is amazing. The “before you begin” tab was so sweetly written with inspiring words and insight to help begin this journey for me. The food collection is very limited so it does take an extra second to take a picture of the foods you are eating and label what they are but once they’re labeled, you don’t have to do it again. I love that I’m able to decide if a food is healthy or unhealthy for me. The wording that’s used throughout the app is just so encouraging and I could go on and on about how much I love it!

**Developer response:** Hello! Thank you for your review.
We are very happy to hear that you are satisfied with the App and are spreading a word about it. We appreciate your feedback and will do our very best to improve the App even more for you.

### 3/5 — Buggy but decent

*2025-06-13, version 2.0.2*

It’s good for what I use it for; a food diary not focused on calories. I recommend buying premium for a few bucks lifetime purchase so you don’t have to deal with ads. ### 4/5 — awesome, 1 suggestion

*2025-05-31, version 2.0.2*

please add a login or any, i dont want to lose my data

### 4/5 — Used it for years now

*2025-05-31, version 2.0.1*

It’s simple that’s why I like it

### 2/5 — Stop Asking For Reviews!

*2025-05-28, version 2.0.2*

The app itself is great but y’all ask for a review after every. single. log. Why?? I already reviewed and now I’m dropping it down.

### 4/5 — Great

*2025-05-17, version 2.0.1*

It’s a 5 star app but I removed a star because it keeps asking me to leave a review every single time I use the app. The part is very annoying.

### 3/5 — Not many options

*2025-03-30*

First, lifetime subscription has increased from $5 to $9.99. Not much but should be included in the description.
Second, and far more importantly, this does not have multiple foods I commonly eat. The first two searches I made were “greek salad” which came up empty and “oven” with the goal of tracking oven fried chicken. This also came up blank, so unless you want to hunt down and manually enter nutrition data for each meal, I would recommend looking for a different app.
Third, app is built to a phone screen layout, so does not fill the screen on my iPad. This is not a critical flaw, but is definitely a minor annoyance, and should be fixable in a sprint or three by the ent for easily tracking meals. dev team.
Altogether, not a bad app, but not what I was looking for, and not super conven

**Developer response:** Hi,
Thank you for taking time to add a review. We appreciate your feedback.
Sorry to hear that the price for the Premium subscription seems high to you. Please, note that the App on the Premium version opens up many exciting features and opportunities for you and it is definitely worth the price. We hope you enjoy the App!
Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-03-25, version 2.0.1*

Easy to use

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2025-03-18, version 2.0.1*

Really helping me think about what I’m eating in a non-shaming way.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Free version unusable

*2026-06-14, version 2.0.2*

Couldn’t even test the app with the amount of ads that keep interrupting

### 1/5 — £28 a month !

*2026-01-11, version 2.0.2*

How on earth they think they can charge £28 per month for this.

Only offer 3 day trial.

### 1/5 — Very expensive

*2026-01-01, version 2.0.2*

Read an article that said this app was $5 for a lifetime subscription. I’d be happy to pay more, but $6.99/week is way too much!

### 1/5 — ads make this basically unusable

*2025-10-13, version 2.0.2*

literally over a minute long unskippable adds

### 1/5 — Used to be a great app, not anymore

*2025-06-03*

EDIT 6/3/25 to developer response:
I have already sent a detailed customer ticket with a video and there has been no further updates. This just proves the 1 star review is unfortunately well merited.

Original:
I used to love using this app and had the premium version, but it’s become impossible to use with the most recent update. Looking at other user reviews, it looks like this problem is widespread, so I’m not sure why it hasn’t been fixed yet. I cannot log food without the keyboard popping up and I am prompted to leave a review every time I take an action in the app. I would highly recommend using another food logging app— it’s just not worth it.

### 1/5 — Ads for games on free version

*2025-03-14, version 2.0.1*

I deleted this app almost immediately. After I put in one food it went to an ad! I understand ads are needed to make this developer money, but pop up ads are not the way to go. Also the free version doesn’t even track your progress. This app is a waste of space and time.

### 1/5 — 8.99 a Week?!? $467 a year

*2025-02-28, version 2.0.1*

I read the reviews and saw one that said the app was $8.99 a week. I thought the person must have been mistaken (maybe $8.99 a month?) and downloaded it anyway. Yep, $8.99 a week which is $467 a year. I can get Noom or Weight Watchers with way more features for about a third of that. I deleted the app almost immediately.

### 1/5 — Not $5

*2025-02-22, version 2.0.1*

The app description before download says $5.00. But in app it’s 8.99 PER WEEK. That is expensive for a simple app like this one. They don’t even offer a money-saving annual option. You have to get the premium to make it worth your while for 2 reasons: premium has the ‘Track your progress’ option that always needs to be available for ppl to look at their data, and ads. An ad popped up on me 30s into opening the app for the first time. Shop around, this isn’t a great deal.

### 1/5 — Asking me to rate multiple times a day

*2025-01-03, version 2.0.1*

Edit: I am dropping my rating from 3 stars to 1. App is still asking me to rate it every time I open it. They have added some emojis to the pop up instead of getting rid of it. Incredibly annoying.

I have the paid version and like a lot of things about this app. It’s very simple and very intuitive. I wish there was a way to change the app icon and the font. Recently the app is also asking me to rate it almost every time I input a food which is way over the top. I have rated it twice and it still keeps asking every time. 🙄 With a few tweaks it could be way better.

### 1/5 — Major problems with the app …

*2024-12-26, version 2.0.1*

Problems:
1. The app needs iCloud backup/sync. The food list preloaded in the app is very rudimentary and to be truly useful you will need to spend a substantial amount of time creating custom foods. HERE IS THE PROBLEM: there is no iCloud backup. If you buy a new phone or need to reinstall the app, all your custom foods, tags, associated photos and your history are lost. Without backup it will take a LOT time of time to recreate your custom items.

2. The app constantly asks you if you are enjoying the app fishing for positive reviews. I have paid for the premium version and don’t appreciate this constant interruption.

3. It would be nice to be able to enter a portion size. Avocado is a healthy food not not if you eat 10 of them!

4. No vendor response via in-app request.

If the above issues would be addressed I would gladly give the app 5 stars.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Simple but useful

*2026-05-18*

MyTummy is a free food tracker. It’s fairly stripped down feature wise- if you’re looking for a lot in the way of premium features, you’ll likely be disappointed. If you want an easy way to track your macros, you’re probably better off with another app. If you want a way to quickly jot down what you ate for a day and add a photo from your photo gallery (or take one with your phone) then you might want to check this app out.

### 5/5 — Helped me ALOTT

*2026-02-27, version 2.0.2*

This app literally helped me through my eating disorder.

It’s helped me visualize just how much I was binging and keep track of my habits! what food triggered me, what food didn’t. it was amazing and this is me talking two years after I fully recovered, and this app is what did it.

### 5/5 — Cute app

*2025-11-25, version 2.0.2*

Just beginning with it. It has interesting features. I love the tummy timer. I do wish they wouldn’t ask me to review the app every single time that I enter it.

### 5/5 — It has helped so much

*2025-10-21, version 2.0.2*

No calories to make me feel guilty just building a healthy relationship with food again

### 5/5 — Great Food Tracker

*2025-09-14, version 2.0.2*

If you want a simple photo record of your diet without counting out counting calories etc, this app is perfect

### 5/5 — Gentle, Intuitive Food Tracking App!

*2025-09-04*

Hi there! I’d just like to tell you how amazing I think your app is…I was looking for a simple way to log my food in a gentle, human looking way and this app is it 😊 I love that I can enter pics of my own food. I have been creating my own database of the foods I eat, and this process has actually slowed me down and help me avoid a couple of binges 😊 I also love the Tummy Timer…it’s a gentle way of helping me wait sometimes before I eat again 😊 I also really love the daily messages! I save them in my phone and re-read them for nice little reminders 😊 I really appreciate the care that you’ve put into this app, and the gentle, friendly nature of it…many thanks! 😊💜😊

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the kind words. I’m glad the app is helping you on your journey :)

### 5/5 — Easy and helpful

*2025-07-12, version 2.0.2*

Helpful with tracking eating habits.

### 5/5 — First time EVER app review — 5-plus stars!

*2025-06-26, version 2.0.2*

I have never written a review before, but this lovely, gentle, intuitive app deserves every 5-star rating it can get. It is helping me get in touch with ME, not with anyone else’s standards, rules, or preconceived notions of what my relationship with food “should” be. So grateful to have this tool on my journey!

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2025-05-08, version 2.0.1*

Simple and easy to use. Great to visually see food intake.

### 5/5 — Mindful Eating <3

*2025-04-01*

My goal was mindful eating rather than calorie counting and this app is perfect. I love that you can customize it so much - picking fun photos from Pinterest for the foods and drinks you’re logging, making your own tags for the foods, and YOU decide if something is “healthy”, “neutral” or “unhealthy”. I am someone who is susceptible to EDs and have to be very careful - this app has simply helped me decide “is eating that worth logging in the app?” and I am able to evaluate and see real numbers of what I am putting in my body. LOVE this app.
