### 3/5 — Billing Plans

*2026-07-23, version 11.5.3*

I like the app for most communications or appointments. I don’t like always having to put something on a payment plan and I don’t like how you divide things up instead of showing the lump some paid. Apparently the regular statements do not provide an accurate account of the payment or the balance. I was told I needed a descriptive or detailed statement. Even more confusing as anyone who does not work in the UR Billing should not have to figure this out. I was trying to pay more each month to get paid off faster but I’m not confident it gets applied correctly. I know I paid $275 for the last payment which was more than the current payment plan and I have no idea how it was applied. Also too many reminders. It
The payment is due on the 12th of the month then it’s not past due until the 13th.

### 2/5 — New phone update

*2026-06-24, version 11.5.3*

Seems to not be able to upload information. Keeps saying unable because of network issues

### 3/5 — Billing Question

*2026-05-12, version 11.5.3*

I was a patient that you are urgent care on January 22. I was billed $1900. I went to simply evaluate the cough. I have asked for a qualification about billing. It seems extremely high. Today I have no response.

### 2/5 — Cannot send a message to my doctor

*2026-05-10, version 11.5.3*

I would like to send a message to my doctor (from 2024) but it is not possible. Her name is no longer in the list of my providers. There is a list of doctors (from recent visits) but you decided to put a time limit on the available doctors.

### 4/5 — Easy to communicate

*2026-03-28, version 11.5.3*

Very helpful, especially during a stressful (but not life threatening) issue. Also love the fact that a one time access can be granted overseas to a medical professional if an emergency arises.

The one down side is this also increases the volume of communication for those on the receiving end. UR is an amazing medical facility but as true in all areas of life, it’s important to clearly and succinctly define what you need.

### 3/5 — Good with 1 serious NEGATIVE

*2026-03-09, version 11.5.3*

This app has streamlined my communications with my Drs. saving both them & me from endless games of phone tag & in a couple of cases saved me from having to go in for an appointment. NEGATIVE: test results being available to me before Dr has reviewed & released them. In a serious diagnosis situation, this can be downright cruel if a negative result. Dr should have say in releasing directly to patient or not.

### 3/5 — Fonts in messages

*2026-02-15, version 11.5.3*

The font size got huge in the messages section. Can this be adjusted?

### 2/5 — If only the app consistently worked

*2026-02-09, version 11.5.3*

I have tried dozens of times to pay bills on here - and the app works 50% of the time

### 5/5 — The best thing ever!

*2026-01-09, version 11.5.3*

I absolutely love my chart. It is so convenient to message and get in touch with my doctor when needed. Also to review test and lab results. And having the app on my phone is so much easier inconvenient for me.

### 3/5 — Amount of updating

*2025-12-06, version 11.5.3*

I do not appreciate having to fill out the paperwork every time I have an appointment. You have all my records and not much changes in 1 week/month or so. It’s not like I have nothing else to do.

### 5/5 — Cancer survivor

*2025-12-03, version 11.5.3*

### 5/5 — MyURMeddicine App

### 5/5 — Very impressed with the Specialty Pharmacy

*2025-10-25, version 11.1.6.1*

I am extremely impressed by the entire staff at the UR Specialty Phamacy. They go the extra mile to make sure that your personal medical prescription needs are met. They were able to locate a grant program to enable me to obtain the best prescription to control my Triclyerides.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Changes

*2026-04-17, version 11.5.3*

While I understand that allowing patients to directly message physicians became unmanageable, I have had two occasions when I could not get a message through via phone and there are no options to message my physicians. I had to get my primary to take time to call in my behalf. If you are going to eliminate this option in myChart, you need to stop using a central team to take all calls b

### 1/5 — It’s not accurate

*2025-10-16, version 11.1.6.1*

The information in my medical record is not accurate. And it’s difficult if not impossible to correct

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-06-23, version 11.1.6.1*

I recently went to urgent care and awaiting test results where i was told a nurse would reply 2 times. I still have not had a response and do not know if i should go to work tomorrow based on the tested the did on my. Furthermore i tried to submit an inquiry via the app and it says there is not record of the visit. Obviously the 2 systems do not speak to each other which i thought that was the purpose of the comsolidation.

### 1/5 — message formation prob.

*2025-05-27, version 11.1.6.1*

the create message process isnt allowing me to form a message. after ive put the subject in. never had a problem b4.

### 1/5 — Requires Two Step Verification

*2025-04-02, version 11.1.6.1*

Just started requiring two-step verification. What is someone going to do, log in and pay my bill? I hate two step verification.

### 1/5 — Messaging capabilities are not sufficient for patient need

*2025-03-11, version 11.1.6.1*

The MY Chart Application made program change in late 2024 as a result patients can no longer send a message to their doctor. The patient is not forced to make an appointment to have a medical question answered. I fail to see how this change is for the betterment of patient it seems more like a new way to obtain payment for un necessary in person appointments. As a My Chart patient and user I am very dissatisfied with the current My Chart platform

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2024-11-27, version 10.7.3*

Frustrated User 1962

### 1/5 — Cumbersome & hurting my care

*2024-11-18, version 10.7.3*

The app gets in the way of communicating with my doctor. Limiting each message to 75 characters is inexcusable and leads to misunderstanding and poor communication.
Call me and ditch the app!

### 1/5 — Not worth it.

*2024-08-12, version 10.7.3*

Just giving medications. No real help. Doctor is too busy to reply.

### 1/5 — Mandatory arbitration

*2024-08-06, version 10.7.3*

Unacceptable

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2026-05-04, version 11.5.3*

We are life long Hornellians recently living back in town. We are in our eighties. We have found only positive things at U of R medicine. I see Jen Weatherby and she is great. She listens, answers questions and never makes me feel like she’s in a hurry. She is so “real” and personable and obviously cares about her patients. I couldn’t ask for more. And I can say “all of the above” for Dr. T, my husbands doctor. He has really gone the extra mile for us. And has been personally reassuring.
And my experience with Dr Nam was also delightful. He too showed knowledge and concern for me as a patient.
We have had labs done twice and gone to urgent care twice. Everyone in both places was efficient, caring and knowledgeable.
A Plus for every service we have experienced!

### 5/5 — Critical tool to help manage my care

*2026-05-02, version 11.5.3*

This app allows me to manage all of my health care team in one place! You can easily track appointments, medications and test results. While in an unexpected hospital stay, the real time updates was so important for me to feel confident in my care plan!

### 5/5 — My Opinion of MyURMedicine

*2026-04-30, version 11.5.3*

Like MyChart, this application is very reliable. But what also makes MyURMedicine effective is that fact that most of the TV ex doctors I work with are very responsive to my concerns. Believe me, I wish I was healthier and didn’t need this application at all, but the fact is I’m not as healthy as I would like to be. Having UR doctors usually replying to me in minutes or a few hours tells me they care.

### 5/5 — Check In Results

*2026-04-13, version 11.5.3*

I think that THE URMC PORTAL IS A GREAT PLAN TI

### 5/5 — Fácil y sencillo

*2026-03-27, version 11.5.3*

Excelente información de manera rápida y eficiente

### 5/5 — Great app for managing health with providers

*2026-02-09, version 11.5.3*

The app works very well, is organized well and is pretty intuitive. Beyond the functionality and design, this is a huge step up in allowing patient and medical professionals communicate with each other )avoiding unnecessary office visits) and preparing when an office visit is needed. I love getting test results as soon as they are ready allowing time to formulate any questions in advance of followup.

### 5/5 — Super Easy!

*2026-02-09, version 11.5.3*

Truly appreciate how easy this app makes it to schedule and manage appointments. I submitted a request in the morning and had an appointment scheduled by mid afternoon.

### 5/5 — Easy way to communicate

*2026-02-03, version 11.5.3*

Fast response from providers
