Literally worthless. ### 1/5 — Collector *2020-11-05, version 2.0.0* Two hours waiting to purchase the 75 anniversary silver eagle: the mint keep blocking me for no reason. I been a customer for over 12 years and this is how they paid me! Big corporations purchase thousands and are selling them at eBay for thousands of dollars. And zero, nada, no coin at all, not fair, the mint should look after little faithful collectors like me, even if I only spend $65! I’m very angry, : I know nobody is going to do nothing about it because money talks! ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2020-11-05, version 2.0.0* I tried ordering a special coin and it kept crashing. I selected “Most Popular” as one of the three home screen options and when I select it, it gives me the progress circle as tho it’s actually goin to open it, then stops and leaves me at the home screen. Then I was looking thru the coin catalog and the chat pop up window dominated the screen and I couldn’t cancel it because the pop up was too large for the screen and it won’t let me scroll side to side. So there’s no way to cancel it. My advice: use the website, this app isn’t worth your time. ### 1/5 — Needs Updating!! *2019-12-01, version 1.0.3* Just downloaded it & it is a waste of time. Does the mint even care? With all these reviews nothing had changed. Press a menu button and nothing happens or it seems to go to their mobile web site. Press Feedback and the app either crashes or does nothing. Ever other coin app I have works great. I guess that come from being in business to make a profit and not money! ### 1/5 — Horrible *2019-01-28, version 1.0.3* This app keeps crashing, hangs up. One of the worse apps ever. It crashes the second I tap the menu button on top and it ALWAYS asks me to pick and arrange the home page icons. Can’t it remember my settings? This app has a desperate need for an update. Anything you click on within the app takes you to the webpage on your browser. Yeah I can just shop on my browser without having to download an app and have it open my browser when I click. Seriously what is the point of this app? You would think the US mint could make a great functional app. But I guess it ends up like anything else ran by the government….a complete disaster. On Aug 10, 2021 it prevented me from purchasing the “2021 Peace Dollar” and on Aug 12, 2021 it prevented me from ordering the new 2021 American Eagle One Ounce Silver Proof Coin. I will never trust this app again. ### 1/5 — Online Ordering is a Joke *2021-08-12, version 2.0.0* This app is worthless for online ordering Period. I have been ordering everything online for over ten years now. This app is the only app that has a 90% failure rate, not the buyer, the app. Because it is a Government Agency that is the seller, there is Zero responsibility taken on my many order Failures of the last 5 years, I’ve called and waited for almost an hour to have a Representative tell me “I don’t know why your order did not go though; you must have done something wrong 😑”. I surrendered, “UNCLE”; the stress & Frustration this app generates is now worth the perceived gain. ### 1/5 — What a complete joke *2021-08-12, version 2.0.0* It just opens your browser. Plus you cannot actually buy anything because they have no safe guards in place to prvent mass bots buying. Even though they claimed to have fixed that. You can never reach anybody to place a phone order ### 1/5 — Useless *2021-08-12, version 2.0.0* The app is useless. You tap on something and it redirect you to the US Mint via the web browser. You want to shop —> web browser. You want to check past orders —> web browser. ### 1/5 — THE ABSOLUTE WORST APP ON MY IPHONE *2021-08-06, version 2.0.0* You cans do nothing with it. If you want to purchase something it takes you back to tour web browser and you have to log in again. Ridiculous and pathetic. Get your act together USA. The app allows you to buy mint products, learn more about history, and track your orders. Account settings are continually unavailable (ie PayPal), some fields do not pre-populate even when the user has only provided one option. For starters, the My Orders button does nothing. I have a Mint account, but nowhere can I see how to login to it. Would love it if this app did something.
