This update rebuilds certificate calculation on the actual French merchant navy rules, validated with serving officers.
STCW CERTIFICATES
• Dual-purpose duty finally counted right: 50/50 deck-engine attribution, never counting a day twice
• New certificates: dual-purpose chief officer (grants both Chief Mate AND Second Engineer), first-class Master, 8,000 kW Second and Chief Engineer
• Each curriculum sees its real path: 3,000 GT Chief Mate for deck, 8,000 kW Second Engineer for engine
• Regulatory reduction applied automatically for master certificate: 36 months reduced to 24 after 12 months as certificated second
• New Dual-purpose tab in Career
• Gas and cable officers: set the function declared by your shipowner - that is what counts
SEA TIME CALCULATOR
• Days computed by the official French rule, consistent everywhere
• Roles grouped by category, months and days displayed side by side
VOYAGES
• Same-day voyages (ferry, shuttle) are now accepted
• More flexible calendar: chain two voyages on the same day (short call)
• Easier port entry
