You do not receive the motion alerts to your phone due to Apple restricting Vtech software rights. Vtech has to figure out a workaround to resolve this, because the customer fraud is being committed when a product does not support the features that it is sold and advertised to have. FIX THIS NOW!!!! ### 1/5 — HELP *2020-09-06* Seeing all these negative reviews and I can’t even connect the camera to the app to even make a proper one. When the app ask to switch to the camera from the WiFi it just loads then when it finishes nothing. Is there a reason for this? My 94 year old dad is in an assisted living facility and it’s important that we are able to make sure he is cared for properly. Since the iOS 13 update, I have not been able to view history on the iPhone or iPad. Since October, I have sent a request at least monthly, and I am told that the programmers are still working on it. Every month I pay 10$ for the capability of viewing history hoping this month it will be fixed. For over a month now, the app crashes every time you click “view history” to see the recorded videos. I’m paying a monthly subscription for nothing. If you are trying to connect to 5 MHz they will not work. I have six of these cameras and they all work great. If you follow the instructions you will not have any issues. But like another person that left a review here said “if you have problems operating a smart cell phone this is not for you”. ### 5/5 — Follow the instructions people! *2022-03-14, version 3.0.5* This Cam works perfectly. It has the ability to change from 1080p or drop down to like 420p depending on internet connections (this is probably where most people are falling off the ledge and quitting their set up due to not checking out all the settings. Has 4 preset camera angles plus you can manually move the camera anywhere you want to view. Motion triggers video recordings and it even has a siren to scare away intruders if your not at home. I definitely recommend you get a SD card to store info locally. P.S If you can barely use a cell phone this product is not for you. ### 5/5 — I’m not sure why the bad ratings, I like the app *2018-01-20* I don’t know why everyone is giving this app one star, the app does what it suppose to do. There isn’t any lag or dropped videos that I know of and the motion detector works for us. I got the cams to monitor our new baby. The response to moving the camera is a bit of delay but bearable. The quality isn’t 4K hd quality but why would you need something like that. My only complaint is that there is no way of turning off the camera unless you unplug it from the wall. I feel there shouldn’t be some privacy in the house. Maybe if there was a curtain time the cams would be on during the day. That would be my only feedback. Honestly, I feel the people rating this app are expecting something like a GoPro app. Then buy a GoPro. So many haters out there. ### 4/5 — Works well *2019-10-14* My camera connects really fast.
