I have the VHush soother, I wish that you could do the play your own music through the app because connecting just to the phone to play your own audio has only worked for me with a iPhone device and cannot get a android of any sort to connect because it asks to have it connect via app so you can’t just use it as speaker to play your child music they want. And I no longer have a device that will work currently.

I like that I can work it from my phone and the range of sounds are good. I did think it had a cry sensor which is doesn’t, and also needs plugged in a lot to charge and don’t like it charging overnight

This app is great for controlling my Vetch night light and helping put my newborn to sleep. Many color options and the free music content is helpful for our sleep routine. I just wish I could set the timer for a shorter period than 30 mins and that the volume and, even better if the light dimness would progressively decrease with the timer.

I have been using the vtech soother for 2 years now and it works great. Really handy app, and timer settings. They have a great variety of sounds for white noise as well as the option to record your own. This feature isn’t the best though as I’ve recorded some brown noise off a YouTube video. It’s supposed to loop but it fades in when it replays . Other than that, it’s great. We love it

Used to work decently on my iPhone 13 but can’t even open or use app anyone with my new iPhone 16 :(

Pleased with the product up until my wife and I both tried to use the app, only to discover it can only pair with one of our phones at a time. 

Not ideal for pairs of loving parents (or including caregivers in the app access). 

Still a nice variety of stories, classical pieces, and children’s lullabies to choose from if you hold the access to the app. I hope there will be improvements to come regarding shared access.

**Developer response:** The product can pair with multiple mobile phone. When the App go into background from first user, second user will be able to control the soother.

The soother itself is not bad. My daughter likes the shapes on the ceiling. 

The app on the other hand is very frustrating and over complicated. The routines are annoying to update and turn on and off. Unless I’m missing something, once the start time of a routine passes, you can't edit it and restart. The Hatch is much more intuitive and easier to use. We will likely back to that.

The product is great and I love the features of the app but if I toggle to another app or lock my phone I alway have issue getting past the connection page. Very frustrating when you just want to make a quick change. Closing and reopening the app usually resolves the issue.

I really like the device and app, especially the routines you can make. Improvements need to be made on volume control in the routines. If you look at actions you have programmed the volume is shown in % but when you edit, you can not enter percent. You can only adjust a slide bar that jumps the volume in 10% increments, which is too coarse. In one instance 30% volume was a little low but 40% is too loud. I want to set to 35% or some other value in between but can’t. To press the volume buttons each time a routine starts is not convenient. Please add finer volume control.

If you use the app and leave or if your phone shuts off, you have to force close the app before it will work again. It’s extremely frustrating especially if you’re only off the app for a second.

The soother is absolutely great however the app lets it down. It’s extremely frustrating - once you have the app open and you make changes, if you exit the app and then reopen it, the app will not connect and just reads “unable to connect” until you manually close down the app on your phone and then launch it again. It’s really frustrating and not what you expect from a massive company such as V-Tech. I know this is down to the app and not my soother as I have had two and both the same. Sort it out V-Tech!

The device is great but the app is really disappointing and annoying. If you need to use the night light in a rush, give up and turn other light. I always need to open and close the app two or three times to get it to work. I don't understand why it does not make a good update to fix the connection bugs.

Now it won’t let me use the app. Just stays stuck on the screen showing it’s connected to my phone. When I click it to use the controls it doesn’t let me. Nothing else comes up.

App is useless, keep disconnecting even though I am in the same room as the lamp , still disconnects … so I have to close app completely then put it back on just to switch lamp off as it doesn’t work in background and every time disconnects while trying to go back to the app..  if you lucky of course because many times when I was trying to put app back on app was getting stuck . So much hassle if I knew I would never buy this device because for this money app should be working perfectly but instead you have useless app on your phone .

App won’t let me ever connect when I need to but it has also randomly connected to my phone through Bluetooth when listening to something and has woken up baby. If app is important to you get the hatch . Going to try to return.

I got this a couple years ago. I LOVE this thing. I can speak through it, change colors for the night light, love the orbit, the music, add my own audio. If you’re looking for a good light with some added features, spend the money.

I love that I can dim the brightness on the display and stop the temperature from appearing. The display brightness can be bothersome seeing that bright display in the middle of the night. Also love all the sound options too.

I got the vhush plug for Christmas and absolutely love it. I have the hatch as well and I hate it. This thing is absolutely wonderful. I like the classical music and the sounds. My favorite happens to be the rain and I love listening to the classical music when I wake up

On n’a pas encore utilisé les autres fonctions. Je l’aime car il fonctionne également sans avoir à utiliser la corde. Je recommande x1000

It is a very nice app, and it lets you set alarms, and timers, not to mention all the wonderful choices of music you get. It is kind of hard to get past the load screen, though. Still, if this app did not exist, it would be difficult to control the device. 🥰
